Well I was mainly talking about their quirky music with fresh musical arrangements and amazing vocals….But also I'm sorry sis these above songs are way more palatable and less noisy than stray kids music. Idk what it is, but the better melodies and much MUCH better vocalists play a huge part, and you know it

Also don't forget this club/rave banger speaking of SVT's loud upbeat title tracks

:hippo:

Speak for yourself and there's no need to be shady, especially since it was SVT who reheated some of SKZ's nachos, but of course they can't do it better than the original :coffee2:

"Hot" has a very similar structure to a lot of SKZ songs and I remember people (including you) saying that you weren't fan of their SKZ-coded songs when they released Hot.

Well Hot and Super are their most successful songs though, so :coffee2:

Huh? Well maybe I did, but it's still better than SKZ by default since svt still has better vocals and more dynamic elements in that song while being more palatable than SKZ. That's just a fact. :michael:

and no, Don't Wanna Cry is technically their most successful song. And in Korea, it's a tie between Aju Nice and Pretty U. HOT and Super were basically just among their most recent ones so they benefitted from an increased fanbase and streaming growth.

How the less talented member got a mixtape before Soobin? :deadbanana4:

Soobin mixtape is very much needed

need him to give us some cute gay bop

mpwiCZc.gif

i was sure he would the second one after Yeonjun:gaycat6:

but yeonjun and beomgyu's mixtapes are on their birthday month, so I guess the releases are: Yeonjun -> Beomgyu -> Kai -> Soobin -> Taehyun

S**bin and Taehyun both had birthdays between Yeonjun and Beomgyu's releases

your theory is bunk, S**bin will come last and it'll be a gay ass Christmas song

those are fraud tactics and fake achivements used mainly by armys, see: my comment regarding Jimin

brings no real impact to the song and artist - remixes aren't doing any difference unless the fandom is very big, psychotic and extra organised - you don't see any remix on the chart, but sure, you can get a quick Billboard chart entrance or very high debut and amazing drop the next week :cm:

Anti Hero wasn't a hit because of the remixes :rip: it's shamefull to use remixes for the chart manipulation and that's basically why both willow and Like Crazy are the laughing stock of the pop world for having the record of the biggest drop from #1 :clap3:truly an amazing feat

even Billboard said enough and is changing the rules to prevent this, because it doesn't correspond to the real world's reception of the song and lacks REAL impact and response coming from real people and gp, not bots and lifeless stans (which in fact works only for the biggest and most obsessed fandoms)

conclusion; no, US industry doesn't rely on the remixes, the biggest hits don't have any and still stay on top for months, not for a week after bot stream farming

Well, you are factually incorrect. Remixes and new versions of tracks are not being affected by Billboard's new rule change and they still affect our charts. The points for all tracks (including remixes) go to one version of the song unless it is significantly different and constitutes a new song.

Here's Morgan Wallen, the biggest U.S. artist this decade, getting a 22% increase on a 2 month old single and 14% increase on a 6 month old single because he released new tracks of the same pre-existing songs:

Billboard is not the pillar of integrity you're pretending they are. There is still a massive benefit to releasing remixes and including pre-existing songs as a new track.

Yeah because that so called it boy probably didn't want to share 2024 with any of the members. He knew Soobin would overshadow him

:khalyan2:

And when that gay ass christmas song will be charting high like Exo's The First snow then what

YangYang visuals are so underrated, I hope he becomes an ambassador soon.

those aren't remixes and he didn't release „new tracks to the same pre-existing songs" (????)

he announced an album, released 2 new songs and that gave boost to the songs that will be included on that album but were already released before as singles, basically similar to the album release effect when pre-release singles are getting boost on the album release day and week

those are completely two different topic you're mixing here

He was able to lift his points by releasing new tracks of the same existing songs. He announced his album in January so it didn't just give him a boost now in March. His boost came from putting the album up on Spotify, duplicating some of his songs as new tracks.

"I'm the Problem" exists as a track on the standalone single and now it exists as a track on the album, two. It is one song and one version, but it exists now in two tracks. He did the same with three of his other singles. His fans can now stream his songs up to 40 times per day (up from 20 times) and it helps with playlisting and inclusions on "new" lists.

Likewise, this is why you see albums being duplicated on Spotify. Instead of the original album just being updated, you see nonsense like "Dua Lipa," "Dua Lipa (Deluxe)" and "Dua Lipa (Complete Edition." It became a thing during iTunes because it allowed you to buy the same song multiple times. Now in the streaming era, it's beneficial for mass-streaming, playlisting and algorithm abusing. That's why when artists release remixes, it's common for them to include a new track of the original song on the remix EP. Or why Playlist EPs became a thing (see: Katy Perry).

HYBE is incredibly smart about this and you can see their artists benefiting from it. Crazy has an extra 15M Spotify streams just from the remixes and that would likely translate to 15M extra Spotify streams for the standard track, too. SM is slowly learning, but they're waiting until a song is 20+ weeks old to put out remixes. They're so bad at streaming :skull:

Nnnnn the Kiiikiii EP is really good :monkey: BTG is actually a bop. Haum is such a main slayer, Jiyu too. There They Go is insane but it kinda sends all the b-sides are a 180 from the title

they really couldn't find another 18 year old trainee to add to the group instead? The fact she only trained for 7 months while everyone else had 2 years; I fear that's who Starship is gonna push as the center :biblionny:

I usually ignore most girl groups for the first two years, anyway. By the time Kiikii hit their stride in 2027, all of the members will be normal ages.
