Thanksgiving for sure, I have started to slowly decorate for Chrismtas now though.

On Christmas week, thankfully, our office is usually closed from 24th to Jan 1st.

But we always have so much to do in Nov/Dec so it's hard to get into the Christmas mood before the holiday break.

Yeah, in the Philippines, they don't have fall holidays like Labor Day, Halloween, or Thanksgiving like here in the States.

Kinda mid- to late November like a week before Thanksgiving is really when I start getting in the spirit. I browsed a few Christmas pop- up shops yesterday looking for ideas for decorating.

jk, I'd say november onwards bc that's where christmas sweets start appearing in stores (well actually in october but idk october doesn't feel as "winter-ish" to be christmas season to me) and whatnot.

First Sunday of Advent! it's very Scandinavian to count that as the official beginning, and we mini celebrate every Advent Sunday by lighting one candle every Sunday, usually gathering for Advent fika (meeting up with friends/family for some treats and glögg/coffee)

so this year it will begin, very fittingly, on December 1st :heart2:

I might throw a few of the poppier Christmas songs into rotation in November, but the decorations and true holiday playlists don't come out until after Thanksgiving. I need my holidays to happen in sequence!

December 1st, but I haven't felt the magic of Christmas since 2010 :gaycat6:

honestly here September 1 every year we have Christmas music playing and decorations out already. :rip:

never, but if i have to acknowledge it then 24 December

November is still a Halloween month
