One Step Away is supposed to have a sad/melancholic vibe to it huh? Like a sad bop?

I have it on CD and played the whole album once on a three part speaker with a subwoofer. Does that count?

I initially thought Orbit produced Betrayal since at first I thought the trip hop beat of the song reminded me (a bit ) of The Power of Goodbye, but surprised to see i was wrong about who helped produce Betrayal.

Before I the release of Everyday Life I was gonna say either MX or AHFOD, but now I do think it's Moon Music (I never thought of X&Y as mid but maybe back then when there were just 3 coldplay allbums haha)

I only know around 50% of these songs so it would be fun to listen to the rest as a first time listening I'll try to give a fair ballot and listen by this week hopefully.

Betrayal is quite out of place in the album imho, but it reminds me of Massive Attack a lot so i'll let it slide along and I love it so much.

Top 10 for that pre-chorus alone. It's a lot catchier than the chorus itself

Not after one bad album per say, but if they do it at least 3 or 4 times with their next projects then you lose my interest. This was what happened to me with Coldplay after Music of the Spheres and Moon Music, both albums i have mixed/negative feeling about. I will still give their next album afterwards a listen, but if it's the same quality as those 2 albums then they might be over giving quality music for my standards at that point, you know? Basically i give any artist the three albums rule, if they flop the 3rd attempt then i lose interest in them, but not outright cancel.

Am I weird that i like "cigarette smoke" the most out all her album closers? It's got amazing melodies in the verses especially.
