  • i prefer still over it. i blame the era on poor mgmt. even tho she was in a dark place i wish the label pushed more singles (and NOT wait so long to push no love).    no love, unloyal, const

  • So this is GREAT.   She really went 3/3 on a trilogy . She did that !!!

Obviously it's an initial listen so feelings are subject to change but I did not save a single song from disc 1 :noparty:

On disc 2 now

Would y'all recommend this album of hers? I've always wanted to check ha out because I LOVE her vocals on Usher's Good Good and also Cardi B's Shower Tears… Does her solo music sound sonically similar.

Okay for worse is definitely what I wanted from her! All these songs are so well produced i love how unprocessed her vocals are on this album.

4th Baby Mama

Bitter

Girls Need Love (Solo)

Hear Of A Woman

I'll Kill You

Anna Mae

Body

Constant Bullsh*t

i posted this list of songs earlier and everybody agrees that these are her best! listen to these and if you like them maybe listen to this album, but like i haven't even formed an opinion on this album yet so im not too sure if her others would be better first listens

feels closer to Over It than Still Over It spiritually to me. feels more cohesive (i.e. less varied) sonically than SIO

as a stan, no surprise i loved it :clap3: a worthy conclusion to the trilogy for me. i will be spinning the absolute hell out of this. also can't wait for the CD tracks

Officially done with my first listen and I'm disappointed that I'm disappointed. It's easily the worst of the trilogy

The subject matter feels juvenile and directly ripped from corny social media conversations re: modern day heterosexual dating dynamics

I'll give it another try some other time though bc I just refuse to believe I'm iffy on a SW album

that's what you get when you order a summer walker album lmaoo

just her crying about situations that are so easily avoidable

Allegedly is really bad :rip: Over produced and doesn't fit her voice at all

Eh I feel the past projects were more realized/lived in. Like yes there were bird moments on some songs but they were better executed idk

I just don't buy she was as invested in her relationships post-London so I guess that's why this falls flat for me

yeah definitely, like there is nothing as raw as 4th baby mama was at all, clearly she just wasn't that hurt

she just shouldn't have made many songs about relationships here at all, should've been similar to FMT sonically and in terms of topics

i like it but it definitely falls off the last few songs for me, i'm glad i bought the physical version

spend it & take me out the club >>>>>

I NEED A BALLER

SHOT CALLER

TAKE ME TO THE MALL SO I CAN SPEND A COUPLE DOLLASSSS:jonny6:

I definitely loved it, I can tell it's going to grow on me a lot and peaks later on :jonnycat:

Just had my first complete listen and I love the album from start to finish. :jonny6:

Number One

Get Yo Boy

1-800 Heartbreak

Robbed You

Give Me A Reason

Heart Of A Woman

How Sway

Stitch Me Up

are the highlights to me.

Also the title track is very emotional and fits perfectly as the closer of the album.
