I have never cared for Taylor Swift at all but I swear she had way more love on here before. Is it because of her new album getting dragged a bit by critics? I'm saying that because Taylor Swift has always been the same person with the same personality.

Because they're tired of seeing her success. It happens to every big artist here. 

For the last 2 years she's been dominating like practically no other artist has ever done, so a lot of people here got VERY bitter about it over time

She still hasn't dropped reputation (TV) which was the only good reason she had to re-record her albums. 

Because they can only dream of their faves reaching this level of success.

 

ATRL would love to see her dethroned by any means, even if that means Morgan Wallen takes the #1 spot again

Not true. 

 

But because she's been dominating haters were hating. It's wash, rinse, repeat with every major act that has such a peak.

i think a big part of it is how out of hand and annoying taylor's fans have gotten about her. another part is her chart-obsessed tactics sabotaging all our faves

But even setting the stan stuff aside, I think I'd be sick of her. She's just overexposed right now and I think even a lot of ppl outside the stan world would agree with that

I don't think she's more hated than she was a while ago. It's just that the way she drops variants like napalm bombs makes it easier to come out as an OTSH

I'm neither a fan nor a hater but the things with billie and charli did annoyed me a bit ngl.

Pretty sure the haters have always been there. They're just more vocal now because Taylor has had gigantic success the last two years. I mean...her haters on here even refer to her as Shitlor which is just disgusting honestly.

They weren't there in 2014; Taylor had the biggest stan base on here

I can only speak for myself, and it's because her latest album scored 6.0 on Pitchfork, which is not good, so subsequently I cannot stan.

It comes with the territory when you're the biggest artist of the century.

 

Excessive private jet usage, performative feminism/pettiness about chart placement, decrease in the quality of her albums, her general ubiquity

If it makes you feel better, I've disliked her for years now

 

She's always been a desperate try-hard but has taken it to a different level post Midnights.
 

She's like the goodie two shoes at school who sits front of class everyday, takes 7252551616 advanced classes, wins class president, goes to USC, joins a sorority etc etc 

Like that is her brand and many ppl CAN relate and look up to that, but it is simply is not for me and  many people clearly

 

That PLUS exposure / stat overload, people are gonna start rolling their eyes. It is inevitable
