It'll die down once her success slows down and her popularity goes back to normal. Then ATRL will be after the next female artist. 

 

It's only natural that overwhelming praise will elicit a proportional negative response. Simply because it can be tiring to see someone you don't like/understand/aren't touched by being praised while you are out here incapable of understanding why that person you don't connect with is so beloved. 

 

Doesn't help that she's doing what she has to to remain on top of the charts, therefore blocking some of ATRL's favorite artists from #1. 

Because she's going out of her way to block our favorite music, that's all

People are jealous of successful women, it happens with all artists.

 

Because Taylor is the most successful artist right now.

1. Quality of her work since Midnights 

2. Her greediness, multiple versions

3. Her fake feminism 

4. playing a victim again and again 

5. Going after Olivia, Billie, Charli, Katy 

Personally, it's just… fatigue? Partially, anyways. She just never goes away, and if it were anyone else they'd be overexposed by now, which leads to the other part…

I dont hate her but i find her just too boring and uninteresting. Even her success is way too boring. Everything seems so predictable and got no storyline to her success atm. 

Sadly she'll never have her Emancipation of Mimi or A Star Is Born type of exciting comeback. 

She breaks records but she literally aim for those records , its not happening organically. 

She got no soul and passion whatever she's doing with her projects.

But I don't think it's fully just ATRL's mentality

there have been stuff that made her being disliked more and more

the jetplane pollution, blocking artists, last 2 albums being meh (and even some of the TV versions)

I guess it's because of what happened with Billie Eilish and Charli XCX. I don't care about the feuds. If this encourages them to release better-quality music, I'm here for it. May the best win

Her level of success has always far exceeded her talent, so naturally people are irritated that she somehow manages to far outsell all the other (much more talented) artists out there. Couple that with her inability to read the room (the album announcement at the Grammys), her annoying cringe personality, her obnoxious fanbase, and her recent tendency to actively (!) and willingly (!) sabotage her fellow female artists, et voilà! 

I'm frustrated; as I think her output recently hasn't been worth the astronomical hype and success she has received these last few years.

 

Midnights was not a great album (and I do not feel it deserved to win AOTY) and TTPD is also just not it for me.

Life is not fair in general... you have a human born as a paralysed and lives his entire life like that and then there are healthy babies who grow to become elon musk like billionaire womanizer. The lesser girls just need to keep fighting or pray that Taylor's popularity declines in the next few years.

Well the "hype" of Midnights -> Eras Tour -> TTPD was technically built/brick brick by brick from actual deserving steps in her career: folklore -> evermore -> AOTY TV -> Magnum Opus TV. She's just reaping the harvest of the seeds she's sown. It's like 25 wasn't that great but 21 ensured whatever came next would be huge. Once Eras Tour is over her hype will subside and she'll have to create QUALITY art again to maintain a tremendous amount of success.
