The chorus is such an earworm and as usual, her lyrics are tongue-in-cheek and excellent.

I love this, very unexpected but she's clearly carving out a lane as more than just Espresso type bops. This is more interesting musically, the harmonies are great.

And yeah it'll happen but the internets always kinda hated her. At least since Drivers License.

The production here is great, I don't see any issues and I love the song

ya sure art and music in general can grow on u and ur feelings on it can vary, but FORCING yourself to like it because of one's dedication to the artist and/or their success is so strange. i love sabrina but can admit this song does nothing to show off her vocals, has weak hooks, bland production and is subpar. the personality and harmonies are cute but still dont elevate what is undeniably weak at its core. 

 

 

This is a veryyyyyy broad assumption. For example, I wasn't planning to like the song as I initially did not like it at all, but I wanted to see the video again. Upon seeing the video a second time, I realized I judged too harshly and have now grown to like the song after multiple rewatches of the video.

 

It still doesn't come close to one of my favorite singles from her (Nonsense, In My Bed, Espresso and Almost Love take those crowns). But by no means did I force myself to like it.

this is a grower I fear 

i'm a bit obsessed with this song. the melody of the chorus is addictive. i'm going and am excited to see the live debut tomorrow at gov ball! i also feel like based on the performance on apple music this is going to have a big spotify debut tomorrow and exceed expectations a bit 

She is so bland to me so I don't really care for her but this song is more interesting and has more personality than the Espresso one, I don't know what you all are on.
