I don't consider the Bulwark group or Hasan to be in the democratic tent. I don't think either want to be, as they operate more freely as outsiders. I also don't think either group should be blacklisted. However, it is fair to criticize both of their ideas and past actions.

Two things can be happening at the same time due to different motivations. Conservatives can be against trans women competing with cis women in sports beccasue they hate LGBTQ people. Gays, cis women, and progressives can have reservations about trans women competing wtih cis women in sports because there's nuance to each situation and it becomes more of a sport fair play issue.

Anyone still arguing that both sides are the same is not a serious person. Most of us are not 6 years old, believing the world is black and white.

Remove men and gay men from it. Do a majority of cis women support trans women in sports? I don't think we know, but it is important to consider.

I agree completely. It's a sensitive topic. I also don't think the Olympics will move in that direction unless most countries are also in agreement.
