i'm so happy for her! 20 years into her career and still getting number ones, her longevity is impressive. I also love how this rollout didn't have a big hit or even go all that perfectly and she still managed. it definitely seems like she has the right team around her finally and it's only up from here for her imo

i think this is a good move. i've been wanting her to lean into Christmas for a while. Cozy is a great christmas song and I feel like an album/special would fit her well and maybe gain back some good will.

two of my faves, LGM and REDLIGHTS rising maybe the GP does have taste after all. I feel like LGM has an organic momentum though, they should push to radio and playlists more

i don't get what happened to her in the UK. I remember in the late 2010s/2020 it seemed like she was doing better there than the US

i think it's technically been out since monday. But she has 4 out of the top 10 and will probably have a 5th before the night is over and I think Atlantic is going to try and get as many physicals shipped before midnight tonight too.

15k away from number 1 based on HDD and she just released two more versions on itunes. i think if we get another two versions tomorrow we have a chance to close the gap and secure the number 1. I don't care about the numbers but it's sad seeing people use them to dunk on the quality of her music this week

i overall really love this album and think the hate is crazy. i feel like the extra versions will be more remixes, which i actually think would be perfect for this era since it wasn't as dancey as people had hoped.

it seems like they are going to push let's get married with the video coming. That was one of the standouts to me and I think that one is the best chance at a hit, so this feels smart. it's funny miley projects really need three lead singles kind of: one for the gays (BP), one for the alternative fans (DR) and now one for the girls/GP with let's get married

Plastic Hearts Something Beautiful Bass Persuades ESV but it's close between SB and BP and they could swap once I hear BP again in HQ

it definitely continues on in the progressive pop trajectory of SB, but a bit more commercial/accessible in my opinion. Lyrics are more relatable than SB. It's kind of like SB with a dash of ESV thrown in.

went to one of the listenings and i loved it! it's def different than you would expect based on the lead and the title, but it feels very miley and kind of instant-classic vibes to me. Initial rankings: Orbit-top tier miley ballad Let's Get Married- if you like rose colored lenses, this is for you! Innocent Ways-a very unique song. dancey beat and production. lyrics about noah and their complicated relationship it seems. big chorus that reminds me a bit of ray of light. Bass Persuades-you know Different Religion-you know Aftermath-I really like the chorus on this one, song has a good groove to it. Redlights-very fun, abba vibes. Neon Signs-hazy vibes, but kind of reminds me of a dolly type song weirdly Snow-a nice miley ballad.
