It shouldn't matter if it's rare or more common. If a surrogate mother changes her mind for any reason she should have the right to get an abortion without any coercion. Why does bodily autonomy have limitations for surrogate mothers to you?

You are free to support commercial surrogacy. Just don't conflate with being progressive.

You don't see an issue with the long, documented history of poor women being exploited by it? Pregnancy has short term and long term health risks beyond the ten months or renting a body.

Having a baby with your own DNA is not a human right. The entitlement masked as victimization is something else. Adopt or get therapy.

People would drop it if you guys stopped being hypocritical. You can't say you are anti-capitalist exploitation on one subject, and support the exploitation of poorer woman on the other. Call us when privilaged women start volunteering to be surrogates themeslves.

I am happy for her, and I hope she considers adoption as an option in the future. There are millions of children without any parents.
