everyone's releasing except for the Kim Kardashian of Music. even though i've given up, where did it all go wrong?

 

Is it:

A lack of passion

Failure to assemble writing camps during covid

Inability to make a better record than ANTI

Walking out of the Grammys 0/8

Makeup and Avon paying more

 

 

What's the most logical reasoning?

 

 

I don't think she was ever passionate about music and she makes more money with her Fenty brand than Music. I don't hate Rihanna but I wish her fans and her would be honest. Rihanna has made her impact and sold plenty of records and now is on her Business-Woman **** and I respect it.

It didn't go wrong. She just became rich from makeup and decided she'd rather have a family and live an easy life.

I wasn't expecting her hiatus to be this long. But she probably ain't sweating much since she makes billions with her other business ventures.

When she realized she could make more money with make-up

Because she's not an artist she was a vessel for song writers like Muni Long, Ester Dean etc. to get sing their songs that they wouldn't be able to release themselves. 

Her insatiable uterus has her chained to the bed I'm afraid. It's Little Shop of Horrors for her 

It didn't go wrong. If it went wrong we would have gotten 8 more albums. Bye now.

Diamonds caused a pivot to more mature sounds/visuals and established her as more than just a cute radio singles girl. Expectations are too high now, we all saw how hard she worked to meet them with Anti and how even with a huge step up in music quality it almost didn't work out. If her next album doesn't do enormous numbers AND get massive acclaim it'll damage her career irreparably. She was a good pop girl I miss her

Nothing went wrong, she just had more lucrative (Fenty) and more important (family) roles to attend to.

The question was about why she hasn't released a follow up to ANTI in over 8 years… 

An invasive thought in late 2016 that she should try a side venture

it's like if Mariah never released an album after Butterfly and became a panty lady instead 

my take is that when that accountant stole A LOT of her money she had spent an entire career making / earning , it really disillusioned her and she started doing other ventures to recoup and realized that music can make you famous but being a mogul makes you MONEY money …

No way

The recording artist has other priorities, like living a life full of people harassing her about when she will record new songs.

People rewriting history and now saying she was never passionate about music 

 

OR... she grew out of that passion after overworking herself for 10 years straight.

 

But to say she was never passionate about music is just false.

 

she is.... billionaire for almost two years outside of music ventures and the recent thread here spilled teas about production process which was a hot mess behind the scene.

 

considering that by now her value probably pass jay and clinging to dr dre mark, is impossible to go wrong lbr.

 

let alone she only gave us academic award nominated best original song which was her intention all along what she wanted and she got it.
