Saweetie just wants to be a rich socialite who occasionally drops music. I love her and her personality, but her music has never really been high art. Not that that's necessarily a problem but I feel like she had a level of fun before that the recent releases are sort of missing. Once the hits dried up, I feel like she gave up.

Should've released an album after Tap In & Best Friend while they were still popping off 

she’s kinda faceless out of her i know that’s right gimmick…love her tho 

Her career ran its course. She makes cute fun singles and not much else, you need to strike while it’s hot to get a hit album when you want that kinda career and she waited too long. There’s not much else to sustain a following from.

Once the public feels like you’re only doing music as a cute sidehobby you’re over

She’s complete blank behind the eyes. 

Like others have said she didn’t strike the iron when it was hot & even besides all that she’s not that talented and her music isn’t great. With that kind of set up you’re due to fall off.

 

But she got what she needed to out of her music career.

Didn't she have a lot and lots of haters though, especially the straight male (rappers?)

They probably dragged her down too hard
