The theory that when times are bad, music becomes happier and more colorful. This has been matched to every bad time period in recent history. The last time was during the Great Recession in 2008. Or during the 70s when there was wide spread economic slowdowns, disco was at its height. Is the current trend of less upbeat and loud music a counter point to the theory that bad times makes happy music?

People generally like to see the main character succeed. What will the ending be about? How she was freed and just retired. Or be about her social media content? Audiences won't be satisfied with that. I think people want to see her win. And a movie right now would seem premature.
