  1. They quite literally were Moroccan. And that's fair, Morocco should free Western Sahara. But that isn't what this topic is about.
  2. As I mentioned before. If Spain gives Morocco Ceuta, and other North African territory there would be no entry into the EU. The Western side of Europe would be effectively blocked. Once a person steps foot into Ceuta, they are protected by EU laws. Spain clearly cannot defend these African territories, and them holding on to them is just a fragment of its imperial era. There is 0 defense of why Spain should even keep that land.
  3. Maybe if Spain returned that land to Morocco this wouldn't happen. These areas were taken from Morocco, and since these bits of land are in the EU. They have full entry into the EU, with all applicable laws. If Spain gives this land back, there will be no place of entry into the EU.
