Tyla says she is black
It's not a US centered mentality to talk about our history and our triggers. Tyla wants American fans clearly so we're allowed to talk about it. I wish non-Americans like yourselves would read up on the lasting effects of Jim Crow because these types of statements are so dismissive and weird. My point completely went over your heads but I'm not surprised, people in our own country have tried to erase this history. What I do know is that I don't like apartheid and that's exactly where "coloured" came from.

Tyla says she is black
These types of comments completely disregard the context of the word in this country. She's constantly promoting to an American audience so people have a right to question something that was and is contextually different in our environment. "Colored" is absolutely a trigger to black Americans, especially elder ones. Discussing the context does not take away her identity at all.

Mamdani stans Kacey M. Why?
The fact that y'all willingly listen to slop like Showgirl tells me all I need to know
-
Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
Overall this album is pretty good, Rock Music is still irritating though
-
ADÉLA - "Ain't in LA"
She did what she needed to do to get me on board I will always welcome anything that sounds like Bangerz
-
FLO - 'Therapy at the Club'
They've been vocally stellar since their debut but all of these songs for this new album are something else… I'm obsessed with them
-
Mamdani stans Kacey M. Why?
Taylor will never be able to make an album as good as Golden Hour let's be real
-
KATSEYE - "Animal"
We just have to accept that they're making music for children
-
The music industry is currently infested with nepo-babies
It's really made following current popular music kinda boring. When people who've grown up with everything have a platform how could they possibly bring something new to the table? It just feels like the industry is on an uneven playing field on a level it's never been before because labels aren't developing or really even scouting anymore.

Noah Kahan fans are still using their seats as toilets
This is a terrible reputation to have as a fanbase
-
Did KATSEYE rip off Fifth Harmony?
Well it's written by Ed Sheeran so it's definitely a rip-off of something
-
Chloe Qisha - 'Fantasize'
Her music's been great so far, will be checking this out
-
UK's Top 70 Biggest Albums Of All Time
Spirit is such a classic
-
Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
This album really has become one of my favorites from her. Anything that isn't instant is a grower and it's perfect for working out
-
Steve Lacy - 'Oh yeah?'
I love The Feeling and Doom and some of the other songs but overall I like Gemini Rights more I think. I like the new version of Nice Shoes but Is It Cool is still so underwhelming in the context of the album.
