Not too bad, just a few points below the 8.2 Speak Now OG got. I guess it's fair to say it's an understandable ranking.

Expected a 8.5 at the very least after the asslicking they gave to Red tv

Yeah, I mean I don’t think many really think Speak Now is better than Red.

 

Most people say they prefer it cause of nostalgia/timing. But Red is obviously the superior album.

Predictable. Speak Now TV and Fearless TV both deserve(d) higher scores than Red TV, but it’s whatever. I don’t take Pitchfork as seriously as some people do to begin with.

Red OG got 9.0, higher than TV (8.5) 

I think all TV will get lower score than OG except maybe Puta and debut

P4K really should have stuck to not reviewing mainstream artists, it’s clear they don’t like anything about them or their art.. 

 

And the artists with less media presence deserve to not have to share a medium with others that already have enormous platforms. In my humble opinion

1. None of us are (actually) mad, at least that I can see in this thread

 

2. P4K didn’t even review her albums until like 2019 or 2020? In fact they reviewed Ryan Adam’s’ soft rock cover version of the 1989 album but not her own. It’s clear they have never liked her and never will  She’s like the polar opposite of everything they stand for. 
 

3. OG Speak Now got an 8.1 from them in its retrospective review so under what criteria is the exact same album worthy of a lesser score? The same thing happened with Red TV getting an 8.5 after Red got a 9.1 when they did a retrospective review of it. They keep doing this thing where they can only admit her music is better than they initially scored it after a long period of time has passed. It’s pretty cowardly of them

 

But at the end of the day albums can not be defined solely by numbers or scores of one individuals opinion, in my mind at least. Just weighing in on the discussion around it
