  • The “me too” people have lost the plot…   Jealous and kind of controlling? Yeah definitely. But this isn’t “abuse” and “rampant misogyny”

I guess men aren't allowed to have preferences or boundaries anymore and btw🙄 I wouldn't want my girlfriend or boyfriend doing half of those things either and IDC what any of U have to say about it.

Poor str8 women. Imagine living that hell of a life.

Men are disgusting creatures. :biblio:

ugh, how gross! good for her for coming forward with this. may he remain single forever <3

Um this is actually kinda not that bad? Seems like he has jealousy issues and is trying to to hold back and express that emotion without coming off too harsh. It doesn't always come out great but seems like he's in a lot of therapy based on how he's wording these things. Apologies if I missed something glaring but I see something different than how most men handle these emotions.

I hate it when people misuse therapy speak. You can’t force  “boundaries” onto other people. You can have boundaries for yourself, but your girlfriend posting a picture of herself in swimwear isn’t violating your “boundaries” :toofunny3:

I think one of the most uncomfortable things about this is that it doesn’t actually look too different from a ton of the men that my women friends have dated in their lives. This kind of awful **** is so prominent in today’s society. It’s scary.

disgusting.

he's co-opting therapy language to further his emotional abuse of sarah. so it may appear he's working on these things but its the opposite, he's hiding behind the veil of therapy to be abusive

The fact that these pics weren't even "sexual", she wasn't posting "thirst traps", it was just her literally surfing :deadbanana2:

Should have asked if it'd be fine if she surfed in a niqab, weirdo :rip:

You must be a guy and I KNOW this because this was the kinda texts my sisters husband would send and the kind of things he'd say BEFORE the 3 kids they had. He eventually chased her out of their home until she ran away because she caught HIM cheating. Controlling men are hypocrites and this is the slippery slope she knows will lead to a miserable life.

My bf and I have the same rules, I don't really see the issue in his boundaries and he's not using abusive language.

She should have simply left if she didn't want a relationship like that

wtf??? what a f*cking d*ckhead

i’m sorry y’all, i know this may be left field for this thread but this is part of the reason

1. straight ppl scare me

and

2. i can’t do monogamy in the foreseeable future lol

Yup yup yup

People will excuse this kind of behaviour because it's so normalised, but just because loads of people do it doesn't make it ok.

I’am sorry but if any of you have anything even remotely like this please leave :rip:

I couldn't imagine putting up with that for five minutes let alone however long they were together.

He’s been insecure for a long time. It’s not surprising that he’s also controlling.

Yeah insecurity + power/access is a horrible combo

I just know he listens to those "alpha male" podcasts on his free time because the language he use are literally word-for-word from those misogynist mouth
