Almost 10m is amazing however it's very US centered

ATRL said she would rival Flowers and Anti-Hero and surpass 14m in its first day. Several users here said the post-Sour hype was so big she would easily break every streaming record.

 

Based on these predictions not being met, we can safely deduce that yes, Vampire is not the barn-burning megasmash her stans anticipated and is thus underwhelming. It’s shockingly also doing quite poorly in the UK — where it’s projected to miss #1 — and the Philippines.

 

They are still quite good numbers for a standard pop artist, but the bar was set extremely high so it being off from that bar dampens it a bit. We’ll see what kind of longevity it can muster.

ATRL and it’s obsession with comparing everyone to Taylor is WEIRD

They're great.  

It's a fantastic debut, people were simply setting her up bad with the 10M+ predictions....she's not Taylor level to be pulling those numbers
