Yeah. Joker 2 is grossing AT LEAST $500m. Wicked will be lucky to touch that. A bunch of Ariana’s young fans being excited on IMDB means nothing. 
 

 

Deadpool 3 is going to outgross both of them lol. 
 

im actually really curious to see how Wicked does. Part of me thinks it’s too niche with it being a broadway musical, but the other part of me thinks its name recognition might give it a boost. It looks really good so far.

Let's not act as if ATRL will also unsurprisingly blame and drag her in first if the movie won't be a success like the first one considering it's gonna be a musical with a different direction from the first one 

 

But of course if the movie will be a success ATRL is already ready to dismiss her involvement like this thread is proving as if a sequel of a hit movie is an automatic success regardless.

J:FAD will likely be rated R and is a musical drama meant for adults, it has themes of mental health and society.

 

Wicked will likely be PG and is the most successful musical of this century and meant for the entire family. Themes of friendship and believing in yourself.

 

 If Wicked doesn’t make more money than J:FAD then it will be considered a huge flop. Wicked is already stanned by many teenage girls for the last 20 years, Joker fans are mostly incels and I see most of them sitting this out just because it’s a musical.

goodluck with that.   even without big stars involved, Joker will always be bigger and most anticipated than Wicked. 

Joker/Batman is global and appeals to every demographic, age group, culture etc. Wicked is closer to Les Miserables...
