Honestly both the same level for me. I use 4 tracks on each album.  Both a mid 6/10

 

I wish people would stop comparing wildly different albums just because they're from mainstream artists and were released close to each other

MIDnights is nowhere near Taylor’s best work. 

People stockholm syndrome-ing their way into not only enjoying Midnights but trying to assert it's even close to being on par with Renaissance

Mid but that's not saying much

All Up In Your Mind alone washes MIDnights

Ren is better but and more interesting but i like listening to midnights more

Renaissance. 
 

Midnights isn’t strong like folklore and evermore.

I'm not even listening to a lot of music like Renaissance but that album truly is an AOTY. A 100 for me even after these months. Only Folklore from Taylor's discography can compete with it (but it's a little too long in my opinion).

Midnights is listenable so her.

Renai is more imaginative 

Ren is kinda better, but the lyrical content of it doesn't compel me to return to it

That being sad, Midnights lyrics aren't really jumping at me either still 

Renaissance and it ain't close.

Extremely insulting to Renaissance and it's immaculate melodies/production

As a fan of Taylor myself I have to say Renaissance. Midnight is good but not really a career highlight. Either way I'm glad to see both of them winning
