Maybe but it’ll take some time. If TS10 is a traditional rollout though she could come a lot closer

OT: The answer is yes, eventually, probably. I suppose Taylor gained around 10M CSPC last year (?) while Mariah gains around 1M. Admittedly, Taylor released 3 albums last year but her catalogue is still probably lifting around 5M per year. 
 

In around 10 years I’d say she’ll close the gap but I don’t think ChartMasters will exist then.

She already has in terms of longevity

Evermore was released in mid-December and its vinyl shipping was in 2021. Also, why are you downplaying her own smashes with the re-recordings? They’re massive sellers. 

 

Mariah’s longevity is nothing to scoff at either. In her 15th year she had the #1 female album and one of the biggest hits of the 00s. Taylor was in her 15th year in 2021 and experiencing great success too. 

Maybe in her 40s

 

She’ll probably pass everyone except maybe Madonna. In the end.

 

The things is, Taylor is a glitch in the system, she has a massive fanbase consuming her stuff 8x each. And the re-recordings are doubling the effect.
 

She will go down as a top seller all time, but in terms or impact or influence she won’t be mentioned to the likes of the biggest females like Mariah.

 

 

 

 

Probably, She is about 60m units away at the moment and at 6m a year can get there in 10 years.

It's a really big gap and Mariah also increases a certain amount of units yearly thanks to AIWFCIY so she may but it will take her a while, more than 10 years and that if she ever catches up.

The difference is only 50M(with needed updates) and Taylor is moving 10-15M units yearly (and it will keep like that with re-recordings and TS10 for few more years) so it will probably happen in 4-5 years.

Taylor has consistently done 10-15M units a year for the past few years. That's obviously not sustainable, but it seems likely she'll keep it up for the next couple of years, which will bring her a lot closer, not to mention the new music that's obviously coming at some point in the future. I don't think it'll be any time soon, but by like 2027/2028 I think it'll be likely, and I think it'll be inevitable by the end of the decade. Of course, CM probably won't even exist then so it won't really matter

Mariah Carey's Xmas catalogue moved 4,2 million sps units worldwide in 2021. And it is gaining in performance every single year. 4,5 million in 2022?

Mariah would stop to move any units. 

 

She probably shifts around 5-5,2 million sps units of her catalogue annually (4,2 million coming from her xmas catalogue alone).

She will, in about the next 10 years.

Faster even, depending on how streaming grows (especially in Asia, where Taylor excels).
