Just to calrify some things.

 

The document had not yet been leaked when HYBE released their first statement. They also never claimed she's completely innocent. They just stated that she is a victim of malicious rumours being spread about her and also of some bullying and will take legal action in regards to it. This alligns with their latest statement entirely, as they deny the rumours that came out initially that she broke someone's head with a pot, was smoking and driving police cars and what not. They are also claiming that she was allegedly threatened with physical violence from Eunseo's friends from outside of school and harrassed in a messenger group chat by them.

 

These remain to be confirmed or not, but I fail to see how it differs from their initial stand.

 

They did however also claim they have multiple 3rd parties that can testify all of this, like you said above. This remains to be seen as well.

 

And there has been a testimony from someone who allegedly went to school with them that came out way before Hybe's statements that PERFECTLY alligns with what they said in their last statement. We do not know if it is valid or not, they posted their uniform with a written hand note as proof so take that as you will.

I have the demo for Life's Too Short, it's produced by MNEK and sung by Becky Hill. 

Aespa's version is better but they took out words like "bullsh*t" and "hell" from the demo which sends me

 

I don't mind their voices on songs like this, but I agree with you I hope it's not their title track direction. 

 

Probably isn't, I feel like SM just gave them some more guitar driven songs to contrast with the heavy productions of NL, Savage etc. It's a nice change.

That's very unfair. When I was 11, I already have a clear understanding that bullying someone is wrong.

 

We shouldn't treat middle schoolers as if they are toddlers since that would do more damage to them. Hold them responsible, but only with a punishment that is fitting to a 11 year old, and make sure they learn from their mistakes so they will not do further harm to others.

Regardless of whether it had been leaked or they have received the document when the first statement was released, in their second statement (after the document had leaked) they said nothing has changed from their previous statement. Denying the bullying and further claiming that she is the victim is flat out saying that she had no part in bullying and is completely innocent. At no point did they state or imply that the issue is not as black and white as they claimed in their latest statement. 

 

IIRC, the testimony you linked came after two testimonies by different people which had the same mark positioned in the photos they used to verify themselves. Obviously, no one is gonna believe the two testimonies. The following testimony (the testimony you linked) is more doubtful then. The comments also stated that the language used in the testimony doesn't sound like what a student would write. If something that big has happened as claimed, surely more people (someone?! teachers at least?) will stand up and corroborate the account but there were no further testimonies.

What we know so far is that the victim side claimed they were bullied and have the certificate with a level 5 to prove it and threatened to make it public to the media if Garam/hybe don't apologize. Since then, HYBE did not apologize and claimed that the same certificate states that this was caused because the 'victim' commited sexual assault against Garam's friend and that there was NO physical violence involved in the altercation they had. It would be very odd if they lied about this since the other side threatened to make the document public the day before.

 

It's been 4 days since HYBE's statement and the other part has yet to make another move, despite claiming they would. Also, the ministry of education confirmed those type of verdicts can vary by school to school, so it is possible that their school made a mistake with that lv 5 sentence.

 

Why is it so hard for y'all to wait for this whole thing to conclude before villanising this underage girl to be a deranged evil psycho abuser 

 

I never paid much attention to the discourse in here outside of music related stuff but with this scandal I realized most users in here are not very bright.

Perhaps because there is already a legal process going on about this case and these adults would rather speak in court than talk publicly on social media about an incident of sexual assault involving minors, which are still minors in the present day? 

 

I was just pointing out the hypochrisy of users here choosing to believe accusations from the other side which are just as groudless.

 

Authentic or not, the idea is that word of these happenings was out way before HYBE declared any of it. And I don't see the point in fabricating it internally since at that time they were refusing to give details on this to the public and have only done so after the law firm threatened them. But I could as well be wrong.

 

We will have to wait and see.
