The legal action was towards the people who spread the rumours, not the victim that leaked the School Violence Committee document. AFAIK, HYBE hasn't sued the victim nor has the victim sued HYBE. Is it groundless if there is the document? If anything, the document at least proves that Garam perpetrated school violence, also confirmed by the MOE while HYBE hasn't provided any solid proof against the document, only 'alternative facts'. Obviously, no one is gonna believe the two testimonies. The following testimony (the testimony you linked) is more doubtful then. The comments also stated that the language used in the testimony doesn't sound like what a student would write. If something that big has happened as claimed, surely more people (someone?! teachers at least?) will stand up and corroborate the account but there were no further testimonies.

The hypocrisy The moment a part of the school violence committee document is released, it's already over for her reputation with the general public. And yes, the school violence committee is not a court and the judgement varies school by school but iirc it is still very rare to get a level 5 punishment. Having it confirmed by the MOE is probably the final nail in the coffin. The only way HYBE could turn this around is if they discredit the document but their last statement was just downplaying what happened to warrant the level 5 punishment. The first statement stating she's entirely innocent and now the latest statement implying that she wasn't as innocent as stated in the first statement doesn't strike much confidence in HYBE's credibility. Doubt the GP will trust any further statements from HYBE regarding this scandal unless backed up by solid proof (ex: verified testimonials to match their explanation) which HYBE hasn't provided since the start or if the details in the document matches HYBE's explanation.

Only the M1 Macs. Got a base Air a while before they released the M1 and it has been with me for 3 years so far. It heats up during online classes and if you're streaming or using Discord the Mac gets really really hot. The heat over the years probably damaged my battery and now it lasts about 4-5 hours of usage unplugged. Other than that, it works like magic and definitely a better experience compared to the MS Surface that I had before the Mac.

I guess people are quick to judge because it is sensitive and many were victims of bullying. I imagine if she has really changed over the years, she would have more acquaintances or people that know her defending her. A librarian or someone who works for a bank have little to none influence on the young and can be avoided after graduation. It is a serious issue in SK and has led to many suicides, it's not to be taken lightly. A bully continuing on to promote as an idol and living the high life would serve a bad example of bullies not getting any negative consequences for their bullying and the cycle repeats. If we are to believe that bullying is rampant in schools, many who have grown up being bullied would not want her to continue promotions either.

In no way was I saying that it's not impressive. I was just wondering why do dives use that Apple Music stat to show that they're global when that stat is only possible due to being in Asian countries top 10 which is not indicative of global popularity. It's like claiming that BTS is popular among the US GP just because they have multiple HOT 100 #1s but the reality is that it is only possible due to fan-driven sales instead and are not indicative of GP popularity. If they charted there then use that stat, not Apple Music Global.

Love the song and happy for IVE commercial success but why are Dives still touting that Apple Music Global stats when we know it's heavily influenced by Apple Music Japan Top 100? Yes, it's top 10 in many Asian countries but a quick check will reveal there are at little to none Western countries's top 100. Just say they're huge (if not the biggest) 4th gen gg in Japan/ Asia in Apple Music.
