Primarily because I can't believe it's actually happening. Was certain it was PR fodder spun by Ally's man to whip interest in some kind of trio spin-off.  Positively surprised to see Mani in the mix. 

 

This can only be a good thing, IMO. 

 

It's crystal clear that there are issues at play with Mani at RCA, so this gives a reprieve from that and, MOST CRUCIALLY, allows her to stack her coins and renew buzz around her name going into era #2. 

 

I'd bet her next album is potentially locked and loaded or, at the very least, in motion. A quick run with 5H sets that up perfectly. 

 

Sidebar: I love the whole group, but it's clear she looks like a bonafide superstar among them. Benefits of all of the above.

Why is everyone assuming it's a full blown reunion if Lydia is telling fans it's a one time thing? She definitely did tell them cause she just replied to a comment on Normani's TikTok from one of the fans who said that (the comment was about something unrelated).

We don't have any concrete news that she's been recording or working on music in any serious way in the last year since Dopamine's release. I'm still surprised that she's still even signed to RCA with how the album was rolled out last year + how it performed commercially.

it's so nice seeing her back on stage after the disaster that was dopamine. i'll take whatever we can get. 

 

she looked and sounded amazing. that little switch up she did during WFH was nice

Visually, does anyone find Fifth Harmony strange? Dinah is much taller than the girls, and Ally is the shortest one. No visual cohesion, that's all I can see when I look at them.

It's nice a treat if you're a Harmonizer, but is Jonas Brothers demographic even the same demographic that likes songs like WFH? 


I am still patiently waiting for a longer snippet of that May 31 song.

Because of that Hollywood Reporter article that came out earlier this year. And Normani forever being silent with no updates. She did nothing with Dopamine. Her only performance slated for this year was the Empowher festival that was most likely a scam. I can see why people keep thinking they are reuniting.

The only artists I can think that perform well commercially on RCA is SZA, Doja, and Tate. Everybody else did sales that were close to Normani. And some of the artists on their roster, I've never even heard of.

That's not entirely true Chris Brown has done really well. Wizkid and Tems sale pretty well as well but that's globally.

Her People interview when she did Dreamville fest (Hennessy pop up) was the only time she's said "I'm always working on new music"
