Always keep those expectations low. Ain't nothing happening until she posts a date. This was the most frustrating thing all these years with her "soon". Never followed up with a date

She's working with a new choreographer. Not getting my hopes up until things are confirmed but at least there's some movement.

OH WOW. Draico worked with Aisha Francis on Chloe Bailey's 2021 AMA performance (which is easily in her top 3 ever).

 

If this is true, Normani is going to eat (assuming Aisha Francis is involved too)! Aisha played a BIG role in Normani's debut Love Lies BBMAs performance that kicked her whole solo career off. The spin move that went viral was literally all her not Bankhead 

 

I always wanted Normani to work with Aisha alone but it just never happens. She's a mother of heels dance and trains the girls PROPER technique, balance, movement etc. along with the choreography.

I feel like Normani could have been doing these tiktok trend dances all along. She's finally realizing the value in them way after the fact. The views on her page are so good lately due to all these dances she's been doing.
 

That keeps your name out there better than random IG photoshoots and can easily transition into promoting your own music.

I hope she keeps it up. They're dragging her on Twitter for these TikToks but visibility on there only helps her.

Tiktok relevancy can always translate into a music career. Like, I wouldn't listen to twitter. They're always outdated and late. Tiktok is the new twitter no shade.

Why do we even GAF? Most of those are barbs and the general public who get off on picking everything apart. 

 

Her enjoying herself and promoting herself; whether that be on TikTok or on Youtube. It's not for them it's for those who are interested. 

 

We need her to keep this up and have this mentality of just posting and shamelessly promoting; just in case we are getting that Sophomore album.

It's not just barbs. The last TikTok she posted is being picked apart by her own fans cause it's a CB song. I don't think it matters anyway cause Twitter is not real life and it's being received well on TikTok and IG. 

No shade Normani has bigger issues than "twitter hate". And twitter hates everyone. Idk why y'all care about twitter opinions in 2025. Tiktok is what Normani needs to master. It's only getting bigger every day STILL.

Chris Brown is on a stadium tour. He is selling out literal Stadiums so yes twitter is very much not real life. Most of those people did not purchase her album. That dance trend is very popular on Tiktok. It comes up on my for you page all the time so it's not really a issue except for people who want to something to drag her for

I have to defend Lydia a bit. Why do some people act like Brandon was getting her booked like that as well? Motivation released Aug 16 2019. Two days later, she performed the song at the VMAs. There was Jingle Ball and streamy awards but barely anybody talks about those performances. She doesn't even have them up on her Youtube. That was it. Nothing all of 2020. Then Wild Side came July 2021. She wasn't even booked for the VMAs originally. Then she performed for Savage x Fenty but she was an ambassador for the brand and performed before.  We got Fair in March 2022 and only one Jimmy Fallon performance.

Brandon stopped being her manager in 2023. from what I'm seeing, people keep wanting her on these huge stages like coachella, amas, bbmas, etc. if he couldn't book her these stages with neither of her biggest hits, I don't know why people thought Lydia would be different. Lydia was going to be blamed for anything gone wrong in Normani's career, whether she did anything wrong or not, because her career was already nearly dead. We can't solely blame Brandon, because I can't book you to perform when you don't care about one of your singles and through out the other two and disappeared. She also had Tunji mishandling major opportunities and RCA losing patience and withholding her budget. 
 

While she has been the target for many unfortunates, we can't act like her reputation of being lazy, disconnected and inconsistent haven't gained legs outside of Twitter/X and has become ppl perception of her without her pleading her case. But, I also understand both sides of the fence. 
 

Normani isn't broke and I'm sure Lydia have not exalted all of her resources (though I wouldn't either), if she wanted to do something pertaining to the album, she would. She could easily make her self visible and walk carpets, do virtual or physical meet and greets, perform concerts. Things she could do on her own terms, but if she wanted to, she would. There's no point in blaming management, when Normani is a big chunk of the problem, when she has a hit single and when she doesn't.
