Someone asked her about a tour and she said this year

All this content. I hope we get something music related soon

And she mentioned it without being asked. We live in hope

She's partnering with them through a joint venture with her management for global promotion. Katseye is with Hybe too.

Lydia's friend who was the former CEO of Motown Records is the new President of Music at Hybe America. Normani was on a panel with her and Lydia this summer. I wonder if she'll have a partnership with Hybe like Tyla just announced.

2026 might just be our year

The co-chairman/CEO of the label follows Normani and Lydia. Not a recent follow though but I think it's a good option.

All I said was I wonder what label she's signing to and you're writing think pieces in response. There is no correlation between your comment and what I said. Every time there's anything positive going on, you pop up like the grinch when you're not even a fan. It's extremely jobless of you Camila stans to still be doing this when it's about to be 2026. Stop quoting me.

I'm not sure why you continue to respond to me but I'll bite. It's laughable to claim that what happened to her career has nothing to do with RCA. She left them so I'm wondering where she will sign to now. Go concern troll somewhere else.

It's not a recent follow apparently. I'm interested to see who she does sign with though

Normani Updates admin. Lydia communicates with them. Choosing to believe it one last time lol. Also from another admin so I'm guessing she's signing to another label.

New interview where she talks about new music in 2026. She said it's go go go next year. I haven't seen her this excited talking about music in a really long time.

This feels really dramatic tbh. Being free from a label that clearly was not doing much for her is something to celebrate. And the idea that she wouldn't spend her own money on her music is not even true. She partially funded the Wild Side video and I wouldn't be surprised if the Dopamine visuals were self funded too. Calling Dopamine a complete bomb also ignores how little push it got. The rollout was messy and the promo was minimal and a lot of that is on RCA. An R&B album performing modestly without real support is not shocking. There are plenty of ways forward now. I wouldn't assume things are automatically going to go downhill from here.

If she had been signed to a more competent label, it would have been a better era but I agree that there's a lot more she should be doing. Let's hope this actually brings about real change. I think a documentary or sit down interview explaining what happened behind the scenes along with clearer communication about her future plans would really help.

Lucky Daye who was also signed to Keep Cool/RCA and left has been releasing music. The fact that she is no longer signed with them and has been teasing things to come in 2026 is a good sign IMO.
  17. diagnosense replied to URBAN's topic in Base
This is good news. Her leaving that label is the best case scenario. Things were obviously not great behind the scenes. Hoping 2026 is better for her musically.
  18. diagnosense replied to URBAN's topic in Base
    A real one
  19. diagnosense replied to URBAN's topic in Base
This is her second NFL gig. She did the official season kickoff commercial with them too. A superbowl commercial would be amazing

    NFL collection with Amazon

You can play dumb all you want. You're a Camila fan, yet your entire comment history is parked in the Normani base. Every time you show up it's the same routine, backhanded digs dressed up as fake concern. Suggesting she should pivot into other aspects of entertainment because you don't know about music and expecting anyone to take that as good faith is ridiculous. I'm not going to continue the back and forth with you, but your intentions are obvious.

The point is that you should focus on whatever that girl has going on and stop concern trolling about Normani. I couldn't tell you what Camila is up to but you're up to date on Normani to the point that you're monitoring her instagram. You pop up every few months with ill-intentioned input no one cares for because of one sided stan beef from the Obama administration. Again, it's 2025… move along.
  23. diagnosense replied to URBAN's topic in Base
The fact that you're here this much kind of proves the point. Is Camila really that dull that you're keeping tabs on someone who's barely even active? It's 2025, surely we're not still doing this. It's always Normani that y'all do this with, and never the girls who are supposed to be racism rehab's contemporaries. Twitter hype or hate aside, Normani still has interest. There's plenty she could do, sure, but acting like no one cares while you're always popping up with the same tired takes about her that no one asked for doesn't really track.
  24. diagnosense replied to URBAN's topic in Base
    She belongs on a stage
  25. diagnosense replied to URBAN's topic in Base
I don't think the backlash would have been as bad if she were active musically, but I still don't understand it. If a fashion girlie like Cardi can have a Shein collab, Normani is fine. And honestly people can't claim they don't care about her and that her moment passed, yet still jump to comment on the few moves she makes. That level of attention just proves some people are still invested.
