What is this logic. She already announced the single twice. TWICE. It will be bad for her image, even worse than whatever some of you claim JFAD has done. It's like she is screaming "I'm insecure about my brand" and "the floppage has scared me". No, just no. The song was always tied to Halloween because that is better promo than a movie where the song isn't even incorporated into. And if people were over her because of the movie, which is a stupid argument btw, then her music on Spotify wouldn't still be getting healthy updates.

Back from watching FÁD with my mum who went in blind, hadn't seen the first one, is a Joaquin fan but didn't know Gaga was in it etc 

 

Came out saying wasn't what she was expecting, thought it was a Batman movie and would be connected to Heath Ledger's Joker, however loved it; thought it was dark and sad with great acting, enjoyed the songs and said it wasn't much of a musical to see why people were so upset, that it was more psychological. Found the abuse by the guards difficult to watch.
 

Told her how bad the reception was (two of the four other people in our showing walked out ) only to say "fine it's not a movie you might have expected, but just a little bit of intelligence should have you appreciating it for what it is."

 

Drag the masses. We are so back.

I mean honestly it's a huge flop both critically and commercially, I wouldn't blame her if she needs some time to process this after put so much effort into the project

 

Don't think pressuring her via social media is a good idea, it's just adding more mental load to her

It's a very stan'd point of view which is not how the real world works. The hype for LG7 isn't ruined by JFAD, because was there any hype for it outside of the fandom? Probably not. The hype among the public/Gen Z (we need the tiktok edits) will start once the lead drops and if the material is good.

And to be fair, JFAD is already forgotten, so... 

Also, any press is good press. JFAD put her back in the headlines (for better or worse), if the song is good, people will go back to it.
