A lead single can make or break an era these days (unless you can salvage with an immediate follow up, like Abel just did, which she won't be able to with the holiday freeze), so I don't have any issue giving her some extra quiet days to get things lined up. People need to give the sis some credit. Even if people didn't love JFAD era/the jazz album, she still delivered some amazing visuals, a fantastic single and music video with DWAS, a great concert special with GCB, and didn't spare any effort with what she could for the movie, etc. She's been on point over and over in 2024, give her some leeway to add some final cheese and tomato sauce to the single.
