They've been like this since post-BTW.

 

- Begging for content and engagement until they get it, and then either rejecting it or writing think pieces on how it could've been done better.

 

- Moaning about Harlequin even though she's been doing piano bar tunes since pre-The Fame.

 

- Complaining about silence on social media even though that type of marketing engagement has been on a down swing across the industry for the past couple of years.

 

- Doubting that the lead of LG7 is coming despite official announcements, leaks, confirmation

 

- Equating her silence to being unproductive, even after getting DWAS and Harlequin literally out of nowhere

 

I think the problem with this fanbase has nothing to do with Gaga, and has everything to do with a bunch of weirdos who suck the fun out of everything with their cynicism. Who the hell wants to spend their time stanning with a base of debbie downers?

I still have faith in an October release, it was clearly still the plan in the last week of September with the "still not October" post. There is no way that in her 16 years of working in the industry, that the failure of this movie (which was essentially a side project) and a Jazz album have scared her off of releasing pop music. Unless it was never really ready to go (I did find it weird to hear rumours of her shooting a video only last week, normally she would have these things planned well in advance) and then that's a whole different issue. But she'll have hell to pay from fans if she goes quiet the whole month and waits until the end of October or November to announce she was delaying the single. Regardless I just don't see it happening.

Idk i saw some tweets they're blocking her on spotify because of jfad 

Enough with the claims that it won't be released in October. IT IS coming this month. The criticism JFAD has faced isn't nearly enough to delay a project of this scale. Period.

She was filming the music video on 7/8th, i think it is safe to assume the lead is coming at 25th. The 18th release would be too ambitious as no video will be ready at such a short period of time.

To add more, if she really was filming a video last week, it's probably not for the lead single. That's just not how it works.

For Chromatica, for instance, she shot both the SL and ROM mvs more than a month in advance.

It's probably back to the drawing board with her team with them delaying everything and figuring out what to do next.

 

 

They were probably going to use the movie awards press to help with the giant tour they had planned, but now that's out the window.

 

They might be stalling the era and forcing Gaga to create commercial hits for the album now that the experimental dark bops don't have JFAD's legs to stand on.

 

They might call Bloodpop to rework the album again.

Its still crazy to think the most anticipated movie of the year a sequel to 1 billion grossing movie opened with less than ASIB and it barely did more than House of Gucci WW and now its being pulled from the cinemas after 2-3 weeks going for digital. 

The movie industry truly wanted to end todd and joaquin and ruin the first joker's reputation.
