I agree, something a bit more niche that doesn't have to be an awards contender. 

Sadly Gar already hinted at another superhero movie, most likely with Marvel, so be prepared for another PANNED movie

Nah, either an award contender or a big commercial film. Her time is too valuable to waste on a project that doesn't have at least one aspect of the two.

I just want Gaga to film with other women. Even as part of an ensemble of supporting women is fine.

No solo Harlee movie plz. It seems like ppl in general are burnt out from comic book character films in general. Even tho Todd's Joker is unique in that it feels more realistic than the other comic book character films I think the public in general has lost some interest in some of this stuff. A solo Harlee film would prob bomb and not bring more depth or anything to the character since it would be led by Todd who clearly has an issue writing good female characters / a lack of interest in doing so. 

Let's just hope Gaga embarks in a string of good films or tv shows and stuff and more frequently! i'd love for her to be on a limited tv series or netflix show and then do some smaller budget well scripted films that she carries as the sole lead rather than co lead as she's been in all 3 of her big films etc.

Snagged a ticket for the IMAX early fan screening tonight… and I did NOT like the movie. Like at all. 

 

 

There are some STUNNING shots and performance sequences but the script, editing, and overall storyline are all a damn mess. So many missed opportunities to really take it over the edge and be completely unhinged. But it ended up feeling limp and neutered, and not in the sarcastic / "f*ck you" way that I'm sure Toad Ratlips thought he was going for. 
 

 

Need GÁR's next movie role to be a complete smash with an excellent script and arc for her character cause it's been 2 in a row that were lowkey a waste of her time. At least HOG got a ton of noms cause she was undeniably the STAR. JFAD was not the case and I have erased all awards possibilities from my mind. Anything will be a cherry on top, but I'm not expecting Jack. 
 

 

I'm so disappointed, been waiting for this movie since January 2022 and it was a total letdown for me. Seeing it again on Friday (this time h!gh) so maybe it'll grow on me. But first reaction is a BOOT.

maybe she can do the 4th Venom movie, or think broader and move into a Disney remake film

D&W is the biggest film this year and Marvel has a big chance to claim next year's as well with thunderbolt. If Warner wanna do it, it won't be with Todd that's for sure.

As for Gaga, even if Warner wants to do it, she probably won't accept it because I think she did the album to let her character go, she moved on and ready for LG7 and beyond. I can't picture her going back to that character again.

Okay, but hopefully no biopics. 

Also before I get jumped, Gaga's acting was SUBLIME. Not a single note. Everything else around her was the problem.

That was so much better than the first movie. They fixed most/all of the large wall of complaints I posted in the base today

I would prefer if Gaga didn't act EVER AGAIN than for her to book those kind of roles tbh

 

 

She needs to start taking a deeper look into the scripts instead of chasing the money, at the end of the day GOOD movies are the ones that become classics, no matter if the budget is small
