I don't think she ever defended gay and trans rights because it was convenient, though. She's been doing that since day one and always risked a lot because of it.

I know fellow monsters act like it's a big expectation for Gaga to advocate for Palestine but she's the first artist that comes to a lot of people's minds when talking about celebrities and social issues  obviously there's potential industry repercussions, but she's built a platform off advocacy in both her music and public persona, it's not THAT hard to believe she should speak up

It's possible she's already doing something behind the scenes to help in Gaza. She just might not publicise it

I have the same feeling.

I'm sorry - she has always been vocal about things WHILE they're happening. Including BLM + GAY RIGHTS and everything, i don't think there's an excuse for her silence - yes i love her soooo much and i loved her because she has always been supportive of everyone and fighting for human rights but sadly i don't think that's the case right now. 
if you're an artist with a platform as big as hers and other artists they should've already done something about it & spread the news about it all over the socials.

It's cool they included her/her headlining in this cause it was a way bigger thing to happen than we probably realised, especially at the time since historically they've not been so forgiving to popstars headlining. It's different now, their line-ups are a lot more pop focused, but after this happened another MPG didn't headline until Ariana Grande in 2019. It was cool she got to do it when she did.

Last thing this fanbase need to do is start spreading fake rumors about her foundation being a scam, money laundering or Ponzi scheme, especially when the foundation has proven to actual help people.
