I don't get why some of you are angry. She literally said 'i'll always stand up for you and for what's right' as part of the piano section @ the Chromatica ball. If you think she shouldn't stand up for Palestinians amongst a brutal genocide, then that says more about you than about the fans rallying her to speak up.

This is tea, but a bunch of cupcake stans are gonna downvote you anyway. Idk why so many of them are so aggressive at the thought of her speaking up against genocide.

At the end of the day, I trust that Gaga's on the right side of history. There could be a multitude of reasons she's not speaking up — Oscar's chances, reputation in the music industry, educating herself. Maybe she's doing stuff behind the scenes, idk. Whatever the case is, I just hope she cares.

also, can someone explain what's going on with lamaisongaga

Acting like he/she has a connection with the Haus and acting superior and entitled with other monsters. Not to mention, he/she was always being disrespectful towards Gaga and deleted it right after. The entitlement when you are profiting off Gaga just to act that way. Then, he/she acted like that his/her account is a real job.

You crying about it on the most random forum on the internet is the equivalent of vegans crying about the meat industry.

The issue here is much more complex and bilateral. She'll speak up about it to her following on social media, then what? To create an army of gay keyboard warriors?

I'd suggest, you and the other performative activists in this thread, if you are not doing it already, to take more effective actions and reach to competent and pertinent authorities or unions rather than trying to vicariously bring change.

"You crying about it" while I've only made 2 posts on the matter. :toofunny2: Whether you like it or not, Gaga is one of the most influential people in music and even in acting. Her speaking up about it would help educate some of her fans, who would, in hand, put more pressure on our world leaders.

Making a meme gif about genocide and posting it as a "got you" is so diabolical. :doc:

☑️

A lot of us came to love Gaga because she used her art to speak out about human rights issues. A lot of us learned we can do that with art. It's not ridiculous to understand why someone would want to know where she stands. It's not even about putting her on a pedestal, it's just genuine interest in knowing, considering she's ridden hard for the man funding this genocide.

Is public shaming the way to do it? No. But here is a valid expectation for public figures who have built their brand on advocacy and activism, to use their platforms responsibly. Gaga isn't the only one that applies to, so no need to be fragile.

Did anyone try the Nurtec? I thought the Nurtec was lovely.

Spoiler

And clearly needed in spades by some people 😍

That's pure delusion. 2009 Gaga yes, maybe, not 2024.  She or your other favourite celebrities have no power whatsoever to put pressure on world leaders. This isn't a Hollywood issue. This is a world issue. Much more powerful people exist - focus on them.

And why would it only help when it comes to election then?
she speaks about it all the time and encourages people to do the "right thing" when there's no right thing at all.

The entitlement, shallow judgement and lack of discernment/deep thinking. Anyway, waiting for Shadow Moon.

Keep fighting with your virtual keyboards and thumbs.

Anyway i'm not gonna discuss it anymore tbh - but some of you making jokes and memes about a genocide happening.. as if it's funny.. that itself shows how bad of a person u r.

Also selling Gaga item by pretending he obtained from her team only to get confirmation from them that they never give an item away

Also, Gaga did a lot of, like literally lots of BLM movement during Cosmetica Era, and guess what? No one gave a ****, apart from some liddos who used it as a stan fodder.
She put an era on halt because of the situation and we applauded her for that. but the fact that not a single person on so-called social media platform, twitter, gave a **** that she gave away her Instagram account to someone to post all the BLM movement.

Stop pressuring her to speak up on the topic that she has no involvement in. In fact, stop pressuring people to speak up a topic that they have no part in.

Some interesting takes in here, I'll have to say. Quite disappointing to see but I digress.

Mmm I'm pretty sure Gaga's intention behind these things wasn't just to get some IG and Twitter clout during quarantine :toofunny3:

Obviously not, but my point is that she used her platform to create awareness and promote the BLM matters which was crucial at that point, and guess what? No one cares. She was also dragged for speaking on such sensitive topic, so now how is her speaking up about genocide going to help? This is something the president, or government, or higher authorities should be doing, not a ******* influential celebrities.

Don't take me in the wrong way, it is so sad to see it happening and I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone around us. But I knew that promoting or talking about such a topic would get a controversial response. On a personal topic, I promoted BLM matter back then on my Instagram like crazy as hell, people attacked me and some had an audacity to tell me that "ALL LIVES MATTERS!!!111!!" and my account got reported. Ever since then, I realized that it is better to do thing privately, such as donating and petition, they always do the job.

Fad better support her era and not let another inevitable world catastrophe derail her promotion or rollout.  People are going to listen to the music no matter what, and absolutely no one is dragging any of the artists who continued to promote and release music during the BLM protests.  This isn't going to be over during the premier of Joker and yet we know damn well she'll be there looking her best.

if this is legit whew

the hidden melody sounds so addictive
