Gaga has said back in late 2022 that she has been working at home a lot and mentioned her music and how she went back to her TFM/BTW days in terms of not asking for others validation of her work like she used to recently

in 2020, she said she moved on from Chroma already

in 2021, she said music is always around her

now Dot, one of the best insiders of Gaga, confirms she's in the studio and that new music is def on the horizon but that Interscope and her team haven't' met yet to discuss any strategy but that she won't sit on it for too long

BURNS liked comments saying he was working on LG7, Bobby follows Andrew Tate who follows Bobby, Gaga and BURNS, Bobby loves Insta posts from BURNS about working in the studio

Also, releasing new music after J:FAD would actually mean around March 2025 (after awards season/everything about the movie) is over, which sounds even more absurd. I'm more inclined to think LG7 will be a short era and she would want to get that out of the way before her next movie.

It's not absurd, nobody claimed that, it's a possibility, for certain users more likely for others less.

 

The problem is when certain people act like it's 100% sure without any concrete evidence dismissing any different thought.

Fair. It’s all speculation at this point, anyway.

Thankfully I still listen to a lot of other artists and can wait. Just hope it’s sooner rather than later.

It would have made sense considering how all out she went for the Met Gala that year; imagine the Chromatica announcement just after it. I guess they thought they would let the ASIB wave ride out while they continued pre-planning the era, but welp!

She also had a high profile breakup and was showing up to several industry events clearly on drugs + smoking heavily. That clearly would have impacted any plans as well. Its also important to note that we were getting snippets of Stupid Love in late 2018 and nobody thought they were real too. They clearly had something ready to drop that got shifted around.

Exactly, it's all speculation anyway, but certain people think to have the thruth on their hands because Gaga hinted at writing music in an interview 3 years ago or because a music producer is working on a studio in Hollywood

 

And yes we all hope it's sooner than later at the end of the day, but personally I prefer don't delude myself, I will be the first to be happy if new music comes before JFAD but I also will be the first to not have meltdowns if somehow that won't happen.

There is kinda no hype or demand for a new album from her. I highly doubt she will be able to pull another 200k+ first week opening with LG7 if she releases it prior to Joker 2 tbh. There is a real possibility this may be her first original music album to not debut at #1 (excluding debut & TFM) if there is strong enough competition on release week. Interscope, her team and she knows this. They will wait to capitalize on the post Joker 2 hype. 

 

Ideal situation though would be for an album to be release before Joker 2 and ride the wave simultaneously with Joker 2 and then another album a year after Joker 2 as well. That would be my dream situation.

I don't agree, the fact that she's not releasing a new studio album since 3 years alone will create buzz-hype for her music comeback, the charts performance is all depending from the kind of project and if she will play the right cards with the right music.

 

Sure, releasing after JFAD will bring her further hype but imo the main reason of a JFAD post release is for releasing the album and then going on a tour a few months later with the same timing 'Chromatica' was supposed to have and because the next project is just at early stages of the creative process.

Slightly off topic but the Chromatica Ball still lives in my head rent free. Even if we don't get an official recording, the fanmade ones on YouTube are fantastic.

Is it SO unreasonable to believe she could benefit by releasing before the movie and let its success, once it's out, carry the album?

Is it SO unreasonable to think the tour would be another succes if it begins right after JFAD, siezing the attention she will get from the movie?

I'm not saying anything like this WILL happen, I'm only asking, is it SO unreasonable?
