From my memory, Mr S said a new single or album, can’t remember which now, was dropping in May 2019 before confirming plans had changed and was pushed back and I think the way he was getting picked apart in the base for giving shifting dates is why he said he was never going to share Gaga tea with us again. 
 

It would have made sense considering how all out she went for the Met Gala that year; imagine the Chromatica announcement just after it. I guess they thought they would let the ASIB wave ride out while they continued pre-planning the era, but welp!

So far there's no a single evidence proving that she has started working on a new album and even if she has started, having a finished album ready to launch with a new era is a total different argument than having been in the studio and started working on it, just because it doesn't match your wishful thinking it doesn't make it dumb or annoying, so far it's the actual state of things.

 

I certainly won't predict an album to be out by the end of the year or Q1 2024 with no real evidences and then cry if it doesn't happen or insult her like lot of people will do.

We got the confirmation of its existence from multiple reliable sources one year in advance at least, the song was very likely done during the Chromatica sessions anyway, considering Tom Cruise went to the first Enigma shows and I doubt it was casual.

 

However once again, it's not a matter of posting pics from studio, like I said there's a difference between having started working on it and being ready to release it.

in May, Shallow was still going strong

I think maybe in Q1 2019 they thought about planning LG6 and then saw radio picking up on Shallow and thought let it keep going

this time people mentioning the JFAD OST are hilarious, this will be no radio music on it so they won't push it ala ASIB

 

also anyone thinking she hasn't written music for the past 3 years are hilarious and truly shows how they don't know her

also she's been teasing about writing music since late 2021, even late 2020 when she said she was already moving on from Chromatica

Exactly. I know we’re all desperate for new music, but we have to be realistic here. The rumors being shared by those ‘insiders’ are clearly fake. Chromatica may have been released 3 years ago, but the era proper didn’t end officially until last year. Even if the rumors are true and she just started working on new music, it’s extremely unlikely she’s putting out a studio album before Joker. I know it’s hard, but we gotta stop deluding ourselves. There’s no LG7. There’s no new music anytime soon.

They can record all they want, unless I can actually press Play (or at least know the actual date of release)…

LG7 will happen one day, its release period is something I can’t control 

Once again, teasing writing music in some interviews =/= having an album finished and ready to release.

 

Assuming she also wrote music the past years, we don't know if that work will be used and fit her next project, how many times she has scrapped or not released something she has worked on before?

You would think this fanbase after all these years would have learned something about her (and team) modus operandi and being less delusional, but instead we're still here giving credits to fake twitter insiders accounts or some old interviews where she stated she is writing music.. Of course she says that on an interview, she's a musician, but that has zero correlation with the actual state of her new project and which are the concrete realease plans.

Enigma, L4S and Chroma Ball being on her bio even though they're long gone, too. Her social media in general is in a terrible state.
