It would be nice if LG7 was a summer era. We haven’t had an era run through the summer since BTW. Chromatica was meant to run through the summer, but she chose make covid an excuse to abandon it

I mean... she has priorities outside of being a popstar and it was clearly a very rough time in her life and the world in general. Like didn't she have family in the hospital

Even just one more single after ROM would have done well. There was momentum there - it would have transitioned into another hit. Sour Candy would have been a massive hit - it sold and streamed around the same as SL without being a single. It was too late by the time 911 had a video, a bit like G.U.Y and John Wayne. She needs to get out of this habit of taking 5 month breaks after the album drops

Even ASIB could have had ARUTW follow in Shallow’s footsteps as a solo smash, but she gets too complacent after a hit. how are some of you gonna understand that there were bigger things to focus on when lockdown happened along with the protests around that time?

 

she did gave a medley + video for VMAs/911 later that year. Not to mention House of Gucci filming/rehearsal around that time. 

 

Her plans were ****** for Chromatica. She proceeded as planned for her other commitments. Move on.

Huh? That was all for a reason. Were you even a stan during these eras? 

 

She was promoting DWUW more than Applause, but the controversy regarding that single and the video basically killed the era. She tried to restart it with G.U.Y. but failed miserably, so why would she bother with a 4th single? 

 

Joanne, again, after the Superbowl she launched a brand new video John Wayne, nobody cared, so why would she work her ass off promoting that as the next single? Not to mention she released Joanne's video a year later. 

 

So I don't understand the point you are trying to make. When there is demand, of course she is promoting her stuff and releasing more singles.

That's literally not true at all

 

ARTPOP got a third single and music video despite all of the drama she was dealing with management at the time + Roseland, SXSW, and a world tour and how can you say Joanne was abandoned after the album dropped when she literally did the Superbowl, Coachella, FF2, John Wayne, and Joanne (WDYTYG) over a year after the album was released.

Covid and the protests really made it difficult for her to do anything with the era post ROM release week… she could have picked things up in July/August but she chose not to…

Yeap, even if I refuse to think they're so dumb to not film this tour and not making a special out of it, it wouldn't be the first time tho so I wouldn't even be surprised

absolutely agreed. ppl mentioning things she did to extend the era after MASSIVE gaps between each thing when clearly you are saying she takes big gaps for promo or videos while an era is going. Like after ROM we really should have gotten something...not have that huge gap of nothing. Same with Joanne's super choppy era. I remember at one point the entire base thought the era was over cuz she took such big gaps of silence between things.

Yeah I noticed, the song never left the trend music section on Italian Youtube for example.

 

There's obviously a small part of audience who is here for that song, otherwise it would have been totally dead by now, by the end of September it should reach and surpass the 100m views also there.

 

If it maintains this stability, by the time of Oscars nominations, it should be +150M on both platforms.

 

She looks so pretty. The bleached eyebrows look good. Her hair grows so fast just a few weeks ago her roots were bleached.
