I saw a TikTok last night that said Bad Bunny should bring Gaga out to do Americano with him, and this idea won't leave my head. What a slay that would be.  This lead me to listening to Americano and becoming obsessed again. Who do we contact to make this happen? Someone's got to get in Bad Bunny's cousin's ear with this idea (he's a Gar stan). It makes sense because the dumbass MAGA's keep going on about how he's not American even though he's Puerto Rican.

 

Also, who knew when this came out the immigration themes would still be relevant (ugh). Born this Way has aged so well. Her going political with it was considered so cringe at the time (example: that annoying ass guy who claimed Kelly Rolland did more for gay rights ), but that's the thing that his given it more resonance over time.

I feel that Americano has more of a Mexican vibe than it has Puerto Rican, so wouldn't make much sense with the current version, but maybe if is re-done. But would be a bit better I think if she joins him for another song that aligns more with his roots (although highly unrealistic).
