Garden of Eden still sounds like such a smash to me… honestly they should just milk this era and release it for spring/summer 2026 since radio is so on board with Gaga and maybe a huge music video would be enough to get people's eyes back on to it and trend…

or a remix with someone like Ariana who fits the song really well would give it new life too. It just sounds like such a Gaga classic, it might be the most single sounding non single in her discography. Previously this was dancin in circles or replay for me, but Eden crushes them in terms of "sounding like a hit single" Imo

Basically, TDD is doing on par with Disease: Disease had a stronger debut, but TDD has a slightly better longevity.

 

However, Disease later got boosted by Abra, Mayhem, Coachella and Copacabana; while TDD will only get Halloween's boost which will be way more limited. Plus Disease has respectable recurrents because the fandom is streaming it due to it being a fan-favourite, which TDD won't have. Although I think TDD will have some recurrents from the GP (which Disease doesn't have).

 

All in all, everything is pointing out at TDD having similar streams and certifications as Disease, but with much lower chart-peaks.

 

The absolutely worst scenario would be TDD becoming the new The Cure or Stupid Love (below 70k/daily): ergo songs that aren't streamed neither by the fandom, nor the GP. But I hope it can at least become the new Hold My Hand (around 150k daily). The best scenario we can hope for is TDD becoming the new Rain On Me (around 250-300k/daily).

Humbling… However, I do think overall streams are pretty low right now compared to last year with the removal of VPN accounts and all the algorithm changes. There's not many *new* songs doing much better than TDD right now, hopefully October gives it the second wind it needs. 
 

It's about to pass Alejandro as her #6th most popular TikTok sound, I imagine it'll reach #5 after Halloween which ain't bad going.

The Harlequin album art aesthetic feels so much like the sound if Mayhem it wouldn't surprise me of it was a reworked fist design early on.

IMO, the biggest aesthtic-to-sound mismatch she's ever had was Artpop. The rave and pop-art visuals from the album booklet fit the EDM sound great but some of her era/street looks, interview appearances, and even the Robert Wilson portraits of her gave off this essence that the album offered something more substantial than EDM.

Solo #1 in the US is the current goalpost most likely

The way abracadabra had one of the biggest days on US Spotify this year, even peaking at #1 on Spotify US and not WW (blocked by DWAS of course)  

 

it definitely was big in the US, the billboard peak just doesn't feel accurate. It feels a billion times bigger there than stupid love which has a much more desirable peak

the tourbook kinda gave ARTPOP energy tbh 

was rewatching the Happy God performance on Kimmel and noticed the comment they pinned "this is a performance of a lifetime…" 

 

I hope she knows that HM is basically a classic amongst little monsters, cause that performance was absolutely INSANE

I hate how Godga has this habit of not milking her eras as much as she could. TF, TFM, Chroma and MAYHEM (which I guess will follow the same path) all deserved more singles. Even if the songs underperformed, they usually help overall album sales. If they smashed, even better!

I don't know about anyone else but I can't get used to listening to the album all the way through and NOT hearing "SAW YOUR FACE AND MINE" after "I've become a notorious being"  

 

Expectation:

A typical Thursday drop and y'all expected what? For it to jump 40 positions? It could have a nice little increase tomorrow and I don't think it's particularly awful overall for it to be sitting that far down the Top 50. It has definitely showed signs of stability.
