Unusual You and Blur are honestly highlights on Circus. Hopefully they get their flowers one day.

Sonically the album kinda reminds me of Blackout with less dark vibes and more of a 80s spirit.

Makes sense, since Gimme more has gone viral / is viral atm on tiktok as a gym soundtrack. It has been popping up for me on the regular. 

 

On another note, with all this new music by popstars and the 2000's pop music somewhat coming back / trend right now..... and with Britney's last instagram post i feel down. It's such a disappointing and pitiful situation. She's very much broken after the conservatorship. And we'd gotten to a hopeless state it seems. Idk if im overreacting, but it does hit you right in the gut when you read that post she'd made about the abuse she'd endured. 

 

I don't think "us" " freeying" her was to have her work and put put music again. But i would've hoped for a .... better happy ending to that dark era she's had. Even on a professional level. I do hope she can take more time to heal. Stopping social media might even be mandatory to her current state actually. And now i kind of understand why she keeps on deleting posts on the regular. She's probably reading feedback and having second thoughts...... very complicated situation if you ask me.
