I was listening to my full library form A-Z and when I got to Britney, whew, what an iconic discography.

 

I don't have any album saved "fully" (except for Blackout) so I went to rediscover some of her album tracks and I started to wonder how her stans felt about some of her music.

 

For example, I know BJ is conisdered her worst and I agree but it has bops, however, I never got into "Perfume" but now, it kinda knocks and I've been playing it a lot recently... how do we feel about it? I saw Britney is a writer so I assume it's one of the few songs she actually liked and recorded...

 

Femme Fatale is dated af yes, but I enjoy it so much, and I had never heard "Scary" and what a bop! 

 

Glory... where to begin... definitely much better than BJ and even FF (or at the very least more inspired) but I feel like it's a little too crowded... the deluxe has 20 tracks and I saved around half... the second half is definetely much stronger. I feel there are tracks that sounded too "Selena Gomez lite" like Just Luv Me or Just Like Me, which makes sense considering Julia and Tranter were ivolved. Some of the tracks had very interesting choices in her vocal delivery but I feel like they missed the mark somehow either lyrically or production wise like Private Show or What You Need. "Clumsy" I am on the fence... like it could've been great but it sounds like a demo? What are some of yall fave tracks from this album? Do you consider it among Britney's best?

 

To me I feel like her album trinity is Blackout, In the Zone and Circus. Her first 3 albums... cute, but a little too early 00's / bubblegum for my taste.

 

 

Also speaking of Circus.... wtf with Mmmm Papi, I always avoided it like the plague thinking it was corny and so cringe but it is so catchy and can't get it out of my head
