I'm so happy she gave us a featureless album. 

 

Beam, Grace Jones and Tems worked so well but they're more like quick guest spots than actual features.

we talk about openers...but one thing I can say with 100% certainty...SUMMER RENAISSANCE is the best album closer she's ever had!!

I'm That Girl & America Has a Problem were my 2 skips but they are growing on me

 

with I'm That Girl...i pretty much just love the middle section...her voice sounds sublime & the harmonies

 

i hate the intro & the outro part is just alright

I've listened to Church Girl about 20 times in a row.

my top 3 changes every hour really feeling 'Heated' today but the songs that have consistently been my favourite since release are:

1. Summer Renaissance
2. Plastic Off The Sofa
3. Pure/Honey

The only song that still hasn't clicked for me yet is 'All In Your Mind'. It sounds like a IASF deluxe track

I will literally listen to the whole album and go right back to alien superstar everytime. The song has a hold on me.

I'm still in awe at how good this is. She's been in the business for 25 years and still doing what the girls shoulda did.

Church girl would have been a bop to me if it didn’t have the word daddy in it. I always cringe when that’s used in songs.

its such a fun song but the verses hit hard..."nobody can judge me but me, i was born free" is hitting the same as "we go round in circles searching for love"

I'm interested in the longevity of the album, I really want BMS to top the charts in the coming weeks.

 

At least we already have a lead single that will chart on the YE Chart
