How are 43 Mio streams on Spotify bad? I mean thats 2.5 mio streams on average per song. And thats only Spotify. Shes more than likely doing great on AM as well.

I just realised and came to correct myself. I guess Billboard didn't count it as a record since the 90s #1s were DC songs. But she's won anyway regardless of semantics. BMS going #1 will still be a career defining moment though.

 Honestly, if it goes #1 after 5 weeks of being top 10... Let's just say it wouldn't be nice for the two fanbases saying her Spotify numbers are not good enough. 

The fact she might get 3-4 top 10 placements on the Billboard Hot 100 next week

 

I already know we are probably going to lose the #1 by one point or two all because they refuse to drop the video and think that’s a “culture shifting move” 

Just buy BMS it’s not even expensive  listen to the lyric video too.
