I bought Pose 1 fully thinking and hoping it would be the standard cover lol idk what y'all were expecting 

I'm usually partial to standard covers and this is no different—I'm happy

Thique is a highlight. She sounds so young in it, I thought it was a kid singing around the middle mark.

This is one of my biggest surprises of the album. She isn't doing her deep voice that she has on BMS and all her songs since 2019. I really thought she wasn't comfortable singing like old bey anymore but she delievered

She finally got rid of that fake deep voice and that's one of the reasons I love this album. 

 

Her tone sounds so relaxed and natural here.

The production is great.  Lyric and arrangement wise it fails.  Wouldnt be surprised if its a commercial flop.  Parkwood needs someone that will be honest w Bey.  Corny, childish and disjointed lyrics.  Bey rappin terribly.  Incongruent themes within the same tracks smh.

 

 

8/16 for me, I feel like she wanted to add something for everyone.
