I think we will get a lot of videos through this era but I’m not quite expecting a movie. Just from the track list, the project doesn’t seem linear the way Lemonade or a linear story driven film would need the music to be to support the storytelling. Could renaissance the film just be a collection of mvs dropped at the same time next Friday like self titled? Sure! But I think at this point, the single BMS and it’s music video will NOT win with that strategy. Just releasing the album and bms video next Friday is the smartest strategy to maximize both the single and the album and allow for the gradual gratification we will have as fans of seeing visuals to songs over time while we get used to the new musical direction

Probably because a Drake collab=streams from the GP. And it wasn’t that big of a deal, he dropped an album and dipped

idc about what he pulled. The demo snippet sounds generic af, and I just know this song won't be a highlight on the album. However, if he's indeed featured, people will go stream it because of his name alone, distracting from better songs.

I can do without features, I can do with them. I can deal with whateva Queen serves.

It's a guaranteed hit, also Drake loves Beyoncé so there's that. I couldn't care less about another one of his throw away hits though. Here today, gone tomorrow.

Completely different music climate+ Drake has gotten bigger+ streaming has completely consumed music #s. A Drake collab in 2022 basically=crazy streams

Let's be honest, Renaissance after a global pandemic / escapism music isn't exactly a phD dissertation so the absurd notion Bey had to steal it from Gaga is hilarious to me
