I low key feel like it’s being treated like that. A transitional song to get the casual fans used to the new sound maybe.

I was going to buy a metallic bucket hat today despite my previous denials. It’s not happening?

If break my soul video came out tomorrow, would it count toward first week sales or is that only if it comes out album week?

 

im just trying to get in their head and understand if there’s a Strategy to releasing an instrumental and a capella tomorrow

Thought we agreed on no Poison Ivy purchases til the album drops.

 

The tea from those screen shots listed "Break My Soul" and "I'm That Girl" back in May. The person's friend was pitching video ideas.

 

So "I'm That Girl" was a 1st single contender...def got to be a bop

 

It could be a better song but I'm glad she went with BMS...a more universal message

I’m that girl would be an iconic comeback single (based on the title alone) but break my soul was clearly a good idea given what it’s done

If it comes out Album week.
 

Instrumental and a cappella possibly to give time for remixes? They which would be ready on album release week.  The Video on album release week would also give Break My Soul the biggest push. 
 

By now I’m fine waiting another week for the video.

Glad it got pushed back. Imagine releasing your wiggle in Aluminum Foil outfits during the summer time. Ha! It made no sense. I wasn’t buying anything anyway though.

I literally play something from TG just about every week since its release

 

I should be in a psych ward for the hold that "Find Your Way Back" has on me alone. I've kicked it up even more since BMS has come out.

They’re posting about it today so why do you all think it’s pushed back? I see no evidence of that

BMS is not a buzz and looking at the titles and the way so many tracks are explicit, it was the right choice as a lead. And really it's an ANTHEM. 

 

The fact that it's doing good with very little and poor marketing shows that. Imagine if it was heavily promoted, I can't wait to see videos of fans chanting it on tour in the UK, Ireland and other countries where it connected.

The video would send it to the top 5 if this is true, but video and album would take it a bit higher in a single punch. Airplay will still increase a bit, streams will pick up because of the album but not till next week, so it can fall this week. 
 

First Class should drop in two weeks, As It Was/RUTH/ADT should be steady, though I’m over RUTH. Lets pray Wait For U drops and the new Harry song doesn’t blast through.

Yep!!! He was also key on "4" album too. He's consistently shown up over the years...even on the remixes for Mi Gente & Savage

 

Plus The Dream is a good friend of the family anyway....Kelly said he's like a brother & Blue even calls him Uncle.

 

It's good to have that musical partner that just gets the vision & can help bring all the elements together.

It's been deleted now...but that was it. The only other detail was that they believed the song sampled Black Box "Everybody, Everybody" which got misinterpreted b/c of the "everybody" line that's repeated in BMS.
