Well there won't be anything to look forward to at the Grammys either unless she releases act 3 before the end of the month when the eligibility period ends

Considering this is a trilogy, I wouldn't be shocked if she tried to treat each Act with the same formula;

 

-Lead Single(s)

-Album Launch

-Tour

-Tour Film + Bonus Single

 

I guess we have a couple of months to wait and see whether this is a formula that will stick. 

When it comes to a bonus track to wrap up the CC era, it would be nice to get one more pure pop-country banger in the vein of THE. Something in the vein of Man, I Feel Like a Woman is sort of missing on the album and could be a fun way to wrap up the era, potentially earning a neat little chart placement too. My House was far too weird to do much on the charts or on radio, but there's a chance here for something cool.

But that's so predictable, shouldnt she be disgusted if the world can predict her every move? We are talking about a woman who is literally obsessed with surprising us and doing the unexpected. Its her kink. Its what she breathes for.

A surprise drop is 100% off the table imo. The preorder phase and vinyls are just too important nowadays for big artists.

She surprise-released THE and 16Carriages simultaneously tho, so she could very well surprise drop the lead(s) of Act3.

The only time Beyonce has genuinely surprise-dropped an album since 2013 was Everything is Love, and we all know how that tanked turned out.

Homecoming had a week of internet promo via Netflix

The Lion King: The Gift had promo via Disney PR

The Lion King: The Gift Extended Edition had promo via Black is King

Renaissance had six weeks of promo via Break My Soul

Cowboy Carter had six weeks of promo via 16 Carriages, Texas Hold Em and Verizon

 

I think there's been a tendency over the past decade to confuse a lack of clarity and active campaigning for a surprise drop. All of the above releases were made with very minimal promotional material attached to them, but they were all known entities before hitting iTunes.

I'm not really expecting a CC tour film. Renaissance was a particular moment, with those organic listening parties at clubs all over the world. It was more of a cultural movement and the film built on that experience. CC is a slightly different thing.

yes, it means probably anything related to that film has been shelved 

those fake twitter insiders are saying her and blue will be on a magazine cover again 

 

we know that multiple people confirmed in january that they'd be on US vogue. considering the timing it was probably  delayed/scrapped due to the LA fires. if this does end up happening, i don't really see what it'd be used for as promotional tool ?
