pretty sure its act ii = past, act iii = present, act i = future

 

this also would explain why she didn't release visuals alongside the albums.

What makes them say act 2 is the past when act 3 is supposed to be rock themed and country music is more of a current trend…

the visuals in each show. CCT uses a lot of old-west imagery and references classic musicians like tina, little richard, and chuck berry. RWT uses a lot of hyper-futuristic imagery.

 

act ii being the past also explains why she didn't collab with any current country musicians despite some of them being fans of hers like Kacey Musgraves, Lainey Wilson, or Marren Morris. she instead included Linda, Dolly, and Willie Nelson. (Miley and Post were included because they are examples of artists who were able to shift into other genre lanes without issue.)

Because she has been teasing them for the past several years. There is literally a cct interlude titled "trailer" that came 2 years after the I'm that girl "teaser" and they both have the same sets in them. It's not far fetched to assume a film would follow the third act.

It is not rumoured - because rumour would suggest some sort of leak, chatter, hint, etc. This was just a fan theory and speculation. Can it have some truth to it? Yes. Does it mean it is legit? We really should not say so.

However, I do not want to discount any reasonable speculation based on what we got so far. If Act III is rock, based on the genre alone it suggests being very vocal in terms of its messaging and confrontation. The other thing my mind always goes back to in terms of themes and possible visuals (like a film or mini series) is the theme of BANG. The gun with the Bang has been there from the start, and ending the halftime show with such a huge banner and iconic ending, does seem calculated. 

I guess we will either find out after the tour is over or sometime next Spring.

Absolutely. And that is inherent to the third act of any project, film and of course, trilogy!! Which makes it so much more exciting because the whole vision and intent come into picture. I cannot wait (but am patient).

if Act III performs critically and commercially like Cowboy Carter or Renaissance than Beyonce will have officially made 5 back to back commercially successful and highly acclaimed albums. Would this be the greatest album run in pop music history?

the real trilogy is Homecoming-EIL-OTR II (live album Tidal exclusive)
