Irreplaceable is on bday and she hasn't sung that in over 20 years and it isn't vocally taxing. It's definitely a moment where the audience could actually do most of the heavy lifting for her if she actually had it on the setlist. She also did resentment for OTR.

The bull heads, the actual fans, the whiskey-pourer.

 

I felt like the traditional fans were a bit lacklustre on RWT, all that technology for little payoff, but they really did it this time!

I just remembered she won't be flying in the stadiums with open roofs. 

I'm excited to see how much more snapped in she gets as the tour progresses.

 

I duno if it's the same way now but my friend(s) who worked on FWT told me she was so involved in everything that she actually didn't get up on stage to rehearse until the day before the show started, which I found very surprising. Obviously she would have been in dance rehearsals in a studio, but I found it crazy that for most of the rehearsal time in the stadium she was focused on directing her stand in rather than being there herself.

I can see that, during the Renaissance movie you just see her watching the show and what to fix/etc, whereas she only really rehearsed the choreography in studios. 

I think that's why she looks more "nervous" on first nights and seems to be more focused on hitting location marks

Plus remember during the RWT film, she said that they had to construct a roof for places that didn't

This just makes sense. Especially for the Renaissance segment.

There are simply not enough angles to watch Blue Ivy do the AHAP choreography 

She has no beef with B'Day. Déjà Vu is always given performances, Kitty Kat and Freakum Dress get shown love all the time and Get Me Bodied has been performed a lot. 

 

She's just not doing it for this tour. And she chose to not do Irreplaceable for whatever reasons. 

I also don't get the cry for Freakum Dress, people keep crying that there's no hits, "why did she perform this top 70 when she could have performed her #1 hits". Freakum was not even a top-anything hit, if she had performed it, there would have been complaints about how it's taking the place for a #1 hit or top 40 hit.

 

Let her turn the songs in CC and Renaissance into Freakum Dresses too. Those songs "no one knew then" that she has performed as if they were big hits and now you're asking for them.

The most expensive seats at RWT (the VIP risers on the stage and back of the floor) were also underutilized. Those seats are for rich people to be around rich people, like Tia Mowry and Kris Jenner lol. 

 

I wish she didn't **** over her fans like that for this tour. The pits seem truly awful, and a worse view than buying a 200's bowl seat.

she doesn't need a roof to fly. structurally speaking, the stadium roofs aren't built to carry the weight of her equipment lol. everything that it up there is built by her team using tons of steel so that the weight is distributed on the ground. that's why shows bring their own "sound towers" etc. as well. they can't just hang stuff off the roof themselves.

 

TS would fly around to the "B Stage" when she toured in 2018, like what Bey is doing now with the horseshoe. I went to an open-roof stadium show where she did it.

After playing through the entire live album a couple times already today, I've realized if you don't like the setlist you just hate fun

 

Excited to see what Show 2 brings in the way of tweaks and updates, if any. I hope the setlist remains the same (please God no big 3 **** this time around) but I would certainly welcome some new outfits.

Too bad we didn't get to see that. 

But my intuition was correct. I remember telling a member that Beyoncé was much more involved with her tour than just rehearsals and he didn't agree. 

She's too much of a virgo to not control every little thing. I remember someone in the crew said once she controls and validates everything, even the light.

Somehow I didn't notice when you were teasing the setlist and it all came true (where's All Up In Your Mind though??)

 

What else do you know? 

 

She came with WAY more energy than RWT that's for sure. 
 

Once she truly locks in and gets more comfortable, we'll be straight. 
 

 

That said, I'm definitely not expecting any more leg heavy choreo from here on out. Probably too much of a risk on her knee.

what if she announced Act III release date or Trilogy film theatrical release date during/at the end of the final show in Vegas? 

 

and then she could drop it on 8/29. it's a Friday and a 29th.

 

one problem is that for the third album, would she tour next year? it might be too soon?
