  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Replace BILG with an actual Beyoncé hit.

BILG is a hit!

A #65-peaking non-music-video-having non-single with no promo, no radio release and no performance and is the 39th song on its album!!

The 9 week #1 irreplaceable that saved Bday's sales and gave the album an actual hit. The audience would go wild singing it

I really don't go to Beyonce concerts to listen to the same cover that has made the setlist 3 times in a row. Yeah, she likes it, but I also like Get Me Bodied and I'm the one that's paying, so.

Am I the only one who liked Black Parade on RWT?

:rip:

This was another case of "you have to see it in person" because when I saw it on the setlist I groaned, but in person :jonny:

So yknow what... I retract my lashings on the setlist until I see it in chicago (and Im feeling gracious that she pushed the pits closer) :jonny:

I have dragged Spaghetti in here as being one of the meh tracks on CC, but seeing her perform it, I've had it on repeat for the last hour

*10-week hit actually.

But this is Beyoncé. Sales and commerciality has not ruled her artistic choices since 2011.

So true~

They always say ignore the bullies, they just want attention.

But on one ever really mentions that sometimes the bullies don't stop because... they want that attention.

Its because Beyonce does the thing thinly skinned chronically online people swear they would do if they were rich and famous: live her life and **** opinions.

Everytime Nicki and Cardi crash out the comments are calling them to be quiet and enjoy their money.

But really people love that they can get under celebrities skin. They hate Beyonce for that. Thats why they call her "perfect" bc they could never.

ok I retract what I said about the view being weird up close... seems like the runway is lower than I expected it to be (RWT stage I guess was higher when I compared it to that).

I'm just pointing out it actually has country roots and many country artists at the time did covers. Would have been a great addition to the show and audience interaction as well .

I LOVED that part in the Jolene's interlude where the door opens and you see her swinging that blue lasso with her tatas out covered by star pastels.

:jonny:

Even the crowd love it and from a different video you can hear them cheer when they saw that.

ya I agree it would make sense...

I don't really get the sense that Beyoncé is inherently fond of that song though, just as she doesn't seem fond of Halo despite it being her most streamed 2000s song. I'm just pointing it out because post-4, except a few instances (like Pretty Hurts) she doesn't seem concerned with reaching for radio hits meant to bolster the album's commercial appeal [and/or make it more palatable for white audiences] (a la Best Thing I Never Had).

instead...she performs...two songs...from the album... the tour is named after?!

and not a song she didn't record as a country song?

I see your point though, that she didn't exactly go back and countrify her catalogue, but I mean, those two songs belong on this tour more than Irreplaceable.

I meant on act iii tour

I'm so mad she didn't at least play 6 Inch during that interlude.

We know all of this, but this is about the concert and audience experience. We don't need to hear crazy in love to death or irrelevant songs like BILG. She could throw in songs people want to hear .

btw this is only the second tour she's performed Before I Let Go at.

I think they're (mistakenly) counting Coachella but Before I Let Go was only released on the Homecoming album as a bonus track and never performed until Renaissance!
