tbh I can sympathize with the disgruntled pit-goers, having been quite disappointed in the drop in experience from the MCSWT VIP pit (which was well-frequented and offered direct access to her, physically) to the FWT VIP pit (which offered a side view, rare attention, and no interaction), however I don't think the solution wanted here for CCWT (being closer inside the corner of the star) would necessarily solve anything that's being asked for. I was in the RWT Beyhive Pit and the closer to the stage you stood, the less you saw (since the stage was so high and you were on ground level). So I was comfortably several feet from the front, with nobody in front of me except two girls clinging to the front bar, and no one else even trying to sneak in between, because the few gets worse the closer you are.

 

I guess the solution is allow people into that space (if it's safe) and let them make their own minds up about where to stand. If they wanna see her shoulders and head only, let them.

I hope that as the tour progresses, they get a bit more conceptual and forward-thinking with the costumes, because altogether they're kind of one-note. I'd love to see major fashion moments paired with amazing, stunning cowboy hats, or with details like fringe or jade or studding, and less of the outright clichéd stuff like chaps.

 

The paisley red catsuit is my fave I think, as it gives country in a way that is a bit tertiary. It's clear and yet not an obvious choice.

Very true regarding media literacy, it's embarrassing. My issue is someone dropped the ball somewhere because the talk after your first show should be about the show, not ticket prices and horrible front row experiences.

the thing is...people LOVE to complain about Beyoncé... even the Hive, perhaps more than anyone.

 

It unsurprising that haters latch onto the national anthem/supposed empty seats, and Hive latch onto pit experience/ticket prices.

Please do! Maybe I'm reaching, but I legit think there has to be an angle that will work. Because, even looking at the distance from the stage relative to the virtual map, it's giving false advertising lol.

It predominantly is about the show? Horrible front row experiences hasn't even made it to my algorithm and I'm heavily invested in the Beyoncé algorithm. The only thing besides positive things about the show that's made it to locals is the whole 'empty seat' debacle, unfortunately.

Didn't they confirm that the VIP pits would be closer to the stage from this show onwards?

I looked into buying tickets for a band much smaller than Bey this morning, and the cheapest were $116.  This is an industry wide issue unfortunately.  

 

With a recession looming, it's gonna have to change.

I think CIL is the compromise she makes for the crowd that wants to hear that, Halo, and SL.  She actually still enjoys it so she will keep it, but you can tell she's burned out on Single Ladies.

It would be iconic if this was the new changing outfit thing for this tour.

 

I could see some of the less labor intensive moments being "the" segment for this if true. E.g. where Riverdance is placed. Would be super easy to slot in sing-a-long-song moments with ish like Irreplaceable, All Night etc.

 

At the same time, it does feel a bit fan-fic-ish lol.

 

We all know it takes sis a moment for the show to really settle into her bones. She's effectively learning and perfecting it in real time. Changing it with each changing date sounds like an unnecessary headache lol. And I say that as someone who would love it.

 

At the same time (again, lol!), this whole tour is largely mapped out almost like a residency in each city. So, tweaking the show every 4-5 dates doesn't feel "that" bad.

(For Kiss Axx hive) I understand that's never going to happen (unless she ever gets a more modern thinking team or gets offered 7-8 figures), but I don't think she fully takes advantage of the low hanging fruit in her quest to a strictly music only figure. I understand her wanting to disassociated with mess, drama, unfavorable mentions that could cause her dip in her image and tour status, but the things ppl are asking for wouldn't require much but simply using your material to their and her own advantage.

I think the thing about Single Ladies is it's so definitive FOR the dance, that she can't really perform it and NOT do that exact choreography. She could update it like she does CIL's routine, but that would dampen the nostalgia people have for it, whereas as long as she does some sort of booty shake to the CIL "uh oh"s, it still works.

They said the same when RWT came to the States lol I highly doubt it's about to be a whole rework. 
 

I do see changes such as camera angles, maybe a couple songs shortened?

But the thing is...I don't think Beyoncé wants to be taking any low hanging fruit. And I think she inherently realizes what scarcity does for your brand (drives its impact and market value up).

I do think we WILL get RWT footage released one day, but think she's moreso looking at things and thinking "okay I don't really need to release it now, it's not really going to change much" and realizing if she were to release it at the end of the era as like a 3 episode Netflix special (one per concert) or even in like 15 years as a "lost" legacy release, which sounds awful for us now but which would be ASTOUNDING as a fan then, there might be more value in that.

ya plus we know beyoncé to love adequate rehearsal. I don't see her having a rotating setlist. if anything a new song here or there, or changes when she switches continents (and there's breaks where she can really relook at stuff and re-rehearse it).
