@Triton I actually think a 6 Inch interpolation would have worked with that.

It's fantastic that they acted so fast! :clap3:

I hope they do something for the people from Night 1.

We know all of this, but this is about the concert and audience experience. We don't need to hear crazy in love to death.

Crazy in Love is basically her signature song though. It's her fanfare. And it's still very much alike her core style.

It seems a little more integral to any setlist than a song that was an outlier on its own album.

I'd be willing to bet more people would be disappointed she didn't do Crazy in Love than they are that she isn't doing Irreplaceable.

She should. It's only been on two tours so far.

I had no idea there were so many BILG's haters.

I'd say cut Blackbird and JFF instead.

:sabrina:

Why didn't she perform multi-week #1 hit Baby Boy (The Barnyard Beymix)

Baby boy you stay on my farm

To milk my cow's tittee

I think about you all the time
I see you in my cream

When looking at the livestream I assumed she had a mic, not a lasso. But either way… it fit with the stripper/club Jolenes ambiance. Ugh Puta!

Can we talk about the special vibe during that Hands II Heaven performance? how intimate it was? wow one of my favorite moments of the night for sure. She connects with the audience very well there.

This!!!!!!!!!

The lighting made it even more perfect. It translates so well live, which I'm happy about.

I was scared it was gonna give VG realness :rip:

No, if that were the case no one would be asking for the hits if CIL sufficed. There are a lot of other songs that are integral to Beyoncés career than just one song. The tour is not only about reclamation but also overcoming obstacles, survivor is a song she wrote addressing the hate and critics and is something that would have worked here. There are ways she can use her other integral songs to tell the story and add in a deep cut here and there. People went crazy when they thought she would play sweet dreams during RTW and same with bill, bills, bills, the audience obviously wants it.

They're a legit fan, in hiding lol

Cut Blacknee, II Least Wanted, Before I Get Old, Just No Fun and half for that long section in which nothing happened

Add Get Me Bodied, Suga Mama, Sweet Dreams, Irreplaceable/Broken-Hearted Girl/Halo, a bit of Virgo's Groove and All Night/Star Over

10/10 tour

Sure. But I never said it "sufficed". I said that Crazy in Love is her signature song so arguing that it should be swapped for Irreplaceable seems like an odd argument, and like I said, more people would be wondering where CIL was if it wasn't on the setlist than they are of any of her other hits. Especially since she does it every tour, its absence would be well-noted and felt. And there is a reason it either opens the show or is used in the "last hurrah" section. It's that Beyoncé song.

tbh I wrote it and decided to delete it but that option seems to be gone.

Oop I am in favor.

:sabrina:

Tbh Blackbird is so integral to the album and instrumental to get the point across there but on tour, the way it's designated with the AR, the anthem and Freedom, I wonder if it's really needed. The girls are not performing with her either.

Why Broken-Hearted Girl though?

:skull:

I am... Disjointly Bloated needs to recognize its actual highlights

I think ... the thing is ... Beyoncé's tours seem to be doing just fine without her "biggest hits" performed.

She can save that when she wants to just drop a tour unattached to an album, and can sell it as a retrospective honouring her days from Destiny's Child to present. THEN we can complain if she's not doing the hits. Right now...for an album she barely promoted, with barely three singles (two of which were released simultaneously, one of which was neglected), it seems almost at odds with her ethos to expect her to tour catalogue hits and not the bulk of her album + whatever else she's excited to include.

Because I duno, I could be wrong because when does she ever do what we speculate but...

I kinda feel like her next tour after act iii's tour will be one of those Madonna Celebration tours... one just sold on her name alone.

She's always given Bow Down the flowers she should have given to Standing on the Sun and that always annoyed me.
