I really do feel like this limited run for CC and her essentially mounting mini-residencies in fewer cities is to effectively "rest" and maintain her touring potency in the regions she's not going to this time ahead of Act III and its tour (which will probably be wider and vaster in scope). 

 

The die-hards will come to her this time, but the GP in those regions she skips will have a case of delayed gratification and rush to snap up those Act III tickets when she comes to them.

 

I really geek out on ish like this and would love to be a fly on the wall in their strategy meetings. Cus this "limited" CC run feels like the product of smart data crunching. AND working smarter not harder in general.

 

The tour will inevitably be massive, but in the "unlikely" event it doesn't move as quickly as RWT, there's the easy angle of it being "limited dates" by design and that it's for an album that is way more niche in her catalog. 

 

Also, with it effectively being mini-residencies, it actually sees her + her family travel way less even if the show totals end up swelling to nearer the RWT sum. It's giving "quick lil family vacays in LA, NY, London, Paris" etc with a few nights of work here and there. 

 

In short (lol), every angle has been meticulously covered on her side and it's intriguing to see.

The general culture (for the usuals) is being more than ever anti-woke.

I'm never surprised when other artists seem to have sour grapes with Bey or don't go out of their way to defend her. 
 

For every artist that Bey collabs with for a project, there's probably 25 that were contacted and didn't make the cut. And even for those that do find their way onto a Bey project, it may not end up being the ticket to a permanent successful career they thought it would be. 
 

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the beef between her and others in the industry revolved around songs that were scrapped, visuals that never saw the light of day, contracts that kept them from doing other opportunities, credits they didn't want to share, relationships that weren't maintained, etc. 

 

Everyone always "comes back" to Bey in the end, but she clearly plays by her own rules, and unless you're a legend like Dolly, she's not treating you any differently.

Yes, I have to admit I was disappointed in Dolly, however I shouldn't be surprised she's been silent about everything.

yup, same. and I also signed up for the "artist presale" via Ticketmaster that's on Thursday, so will probably receive more information on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
